Junior....I tie this up in sexy shad along with huge preacher jig patterns. Did t think the hand tied chatter bait would work but man does it catch fish on Guntersville. They eat that sexy shad up around grass lines and off shore humps. Great tie Junior....thanks for sharing.
Once again, the lure started out looking like a matted cat, but I knew you would pull off a great looking lure. You did. If you can, figure out how to change the hook. I believe you will have a better hookup ratio with a straight shank hook. Well done. Be blessed. My friend.
Looks like a baby bass. It should do well in lakes with small largemouth. You do know those hooks are meant to unscrew off of the head, correct? I usually change them out for a 4/0 or 5/0 flippin' hook. The way they are designed is for throwing a plastic trailer on the EWG hook for a weedless presentation. I'm not a big fan of EWG hooks. The hook-up ratio is terrible because the hook point is almost in line with the hook eye. So if you get some extra hooks, you can have several colors and shapes tied up and ready to swap out on the head. I guess that's why they call them "freedom".

Cahhter baits are amazing! Even more fun throwing something you tied yourself!
