Good stuff! A testament to Z Man toughness. I was fishing a Ned rig, and a four pound snapper grabbed the worm. I dragged him up to the shoreline before he let go. I said good bye, and went back to fishing.
Question about storage. With the tricks like super glue, that means that bait and head are stuck together for good - meaning you need a place to store it. Are there any tackle boxes that are safe to store Elaztech in where it wont melt the box?
I'm a huge Zman fan!!!!! I've got just about everything I need to go out and catch anything I want. My favorite method I use is the elaztech over the eye. Even on the new Zman Micro Shad Fryz. I don't like to use super glue. I've experienced that finicky fish seem to detect the oder of the glue and won't bite. I do use fish attractants but not to attract fish,... more like to mask my scent or anything I may have on my hands. I will use spike it to get a better presentation but not all the time. There's times you have to be careful. You can over do a situation. Stick with Zman products, you won't go wrong!
Insert the hook point into the tip of the bait (where you'd put the screw lock) so you make a channel (think pre-drilling in woodworking). Then remove the hook tip and put the screw lock in. It'll go in much easier if you make that hole first.
I lock plastics on jig heads using an L-shaped piece of floral wire attached to and under the line tie. It doesn't damage the lure like glue when you want to change designs and the lure can be used far more many times. The wire is good for any size plastic and doesn't affect the strike.
My new favorite is the zinkerZ paired with a hayabusa 202 weedless wacky hook. It’s by far my new favorite!!!! Being able to fish wacky completely weedless and the 202 hook will tear up a senko, but not the elaztech.
My one and only issue with elaztech is with Texas rigging. I find it difficult to texpose the hook to truly make it weedless. If i go over keeper it doesnt release properly. If i go too little it just comes out and the point catches grass/wood. Anyone else have this issue? Any thoughts on how to handle this?
When Texas-rigging, you can bury the point in the material. The good thing about ElaZtech is it's still soft enough that the hook will penetrate through when bit.
@@garysmith7832 If you glue it on, it's on for good until you break it off. That said, you'll be able to catch dozens of fish on one bait before you wear out the material. That said, if you're looking to switch out baits frequently, just don't glue it.
It’s stupid that you need to use superglue or make holes around the bait to make the product work adequately. Fix this instead of making superglue promo videos.
Great Video. My PROPOSAL for a New Z-Man Bait to Target Pompano! DESCRIPTION: Change your "Z-Man Micro TRD Chartreuse Yellow" to be half Bright Yellow & Half Hot Pink. Add some tiny lumps in the exterior of the soft plastic to mimic a cluster of Sand Flea Eggs (Bright Orange). Z-Man may even make the overall shape the Scented Bait to look somewhat like a Sand Flea. Finally, the New Z-Man Pompano Candy comes with "Embedded", Weighted, smaller Jighead hooks to make rigging faster. This new Z-Man Bait targets Pompano & Flounder! If Z-Man "Likes" my Proposal, pls send me some samples & a Z-Man T-Shirt size "large". Best Wishes & Much Success to Z-Man in 2023-24!
It’s gotta be the go to soft bait for everyone but I’ll just speak for myself since it is the only soft plastic that I use...🤙🏼🤙🏼
The TicklerZ puts flounder in the boat and a couple hours later... in my belly! Z-Man baits work. Thanks for the "Hacks" video.
Ned rigging flounder! Nice!
Great video! I've found that with the proper hooks/terminal tackle, you don't even need the super glue. Elaztech is the bomb
Agreed!
Facts!!! I don't use super glue
Love the treble hook idea on top water.
Game changer!
A hack about how to get a twist on hook rigged with ElaZtec would be great.
These are such outstanding hacks, and I remember meeting you at the Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Murray 2017, and I now have over 100 ZMAN Products 🙌😜🙌🎣✊🎣
We'll let Glenn know you said hey. Thanks for reaching out Will!
Amazing. I have yet to get zman soft plastics. I want to try all of them!! Need a variety kit!!
That under spin trick blew my mind
Easy added flash!
Try using the underspin on the ticklerz, even better.
Or cut the boot tail off on the diezel minnow and put the underspin as the tail
@@mthomas91088 We almost included that tip in the video because it works so well!

cant u just take the plastic insert out and keep it in the bag
Just rig em up then put em in the ned rig bag or whatever bait you’re using
How about some 2 “ crappie baits ? Shad type shapes
Clever. Well done, quick and to the point.
This is next level stuff Glenn!
those are awesome tips.. when are we gonna see a tackle box/tray that is safe for use with Zman Elaztech, i feel like thats the next step
Lure lock works fine with elastech
If you can find the Flambeau K-Series boxes, they work with ElaZtech.
@@mthomas91088 even with the sticky grip on the bottom? surprising, i may have to give it a shot, tired of other cheap trays warping haha
@@ZManFishingProducts gotcha, ill keep an eye out. thanks
Yep, the only soft plastic I use...and I Pro Cure the swimbaits on Deathgrip Jigheads...one drop of superglue welds it in place for ever!
Good to go all day!
I was waiting on a tip how to rig on to a corkscrew type keeper.Any hacks or tips?
That hookeye trick and the weedless TicklerZ are genius
Mind blown!
Stole that idea from cabin creek baits.there jigs are like that

THANKS FOR HOW TO KEEP BAIT FROM SLIDING DOWN HOOK ...AM BAD ABOUT USING FIRST THEN READ DIRECTIONS
Would berkley gulp scent be used with elastech? I have a bottle full of it that I might have to experiment with.
Awesome hacks! I will definitely be trying these!
Any suggestions on how best to get zman baits on a screw lock for shakey heads

Does pro cure have anything like dip n glo? Where it’s a scent and UV coloring that glows in the water?
Not that we know of. They've got a dye/scent that's used for frozen/live bait but that's it.
Awesome video! Thanks for the tips. 👍🍺🎣
Hope it helps!
greetings from Germany. i love your Products .Meanwhile they are available ,for 2-3 years it was hard to find it in any tackle store.
Good info. Thanks for sharing
My Go to baits,everytime
I’m here to let the saltwater fishing community know the Zman TRD are FLOUNDER SLAYERS!! I have been slaying them this spring, like no other!!
Add a lil pro cure and find your groove, and the
Best plastics made!!
Great video
I’d like to see a barbed eyelet from ZMan that can be used like a CPS eyelet in plastisol baits.

Great video.. for those wondering what clippers those are there called boomerangs. And there the shit..
I love Zman
Diezel minnowz and rig them with the paddle tail up into the water instead of the traditional way. You get more vibration out of your baits.
Gorilla super glue gel works well for me. Just don't use it on your hair. 😅
Why do swimbaits start to stink?
Should those be discarded?

Ok doing #5 from now on 👍🏻
Just make sure you do that before tying the jig on.
Be hard not to unless you can run your pole through it! 🤔😆
But once you glue it on. It's on for good.. it's hard to take those off the hook once you put them on.
That's kinda the point...
So basically you can't reuse the plastic worm

Elaztech good. Music toward end of video bad.
Nice hacks. I hit the sub button
Seems like you watch randy blaukat
I use Gulp it's biodegradable. Actually I use both. Lol
Как жаль,что я вас не понимаю НО,Ввидео супер!
Thats not how you snap it on first the pull it back then glue it then push it on
I don't get why people have that problem with baits sliding down. I don't have it happen ever.
