If it were me, I'd stick with the R1S--about the best thing I can say about the cybertruck is that it is unique, but from the day it rolled across the stage, I disliked the design and my feelings have only increased in that regard after seeing a couple on the road out here where I live in Arizona. Each to their own, however, and if you get one, I hope you enjoy it--as for me, I gave $100 to Rivian to score my place in line for a R2!
Very nice video. I can definitely see why someone would prefer an R1. I’m thinking about a cybertruck so I can transport materials from a wholesaler for my candle business. My adventure is my astrology start-up instead of outdoor adventures. You guys have way more fun than me! 😄
People buy these two vehicles for different reasons. That is the best place to start. They are both paving the way to the future, no matter which one you prefer.
I own a Cyberbeast and I would buy a Rivian R2 over the Cybertruck any day. Maybe the R1S now if it has NACS. The truck bed is completely useless to me. Have not uses it since i got my truck a month ago. I prefer a SUV for car camping or naping while I charge.
Cybertruck has many issues as pointed out in vast reviews. If Tesla can’t fix the growing Cybertruck issues and refine the entire design, it likely will be dropped after several years of production after shipping the backlog of preorders of which many are canceling daily due to the bad reviews and endless delays.
I test drove an R1T quad motor the other day and loved it. The drive and quality of everything is the best I’ve seen compared to other brands. I’ve driven in Teslas and a polestar, Rivian is far superior

I've had the Cybertruck for only a week now and I'm very much on the fence still between the R1S and Cybertruck. They are both great vehicles, but completely different personalities.

The Cybertruck is a rolling billboard for small companies to wrap and write-off, a lot of people just haven't figured that out yet
Rivian is a vastly superior product. I’m a former Model 3 and Y owner. Rivians battery is actually accurate, nicer interior and smoother ride
R1S all day and every day over CT.

Let’s be real, no EV truck can do HD truck things like towing 8000 pounds across long distances. For everything else, all of them are pretty great.
