I love the sound!!! I have a 2018 Crew cab express and I have the edge pulsar and a vararam cai. It makes a difference. I am slowly getting it a bit quicker. It’s hard having a payment and modding 😂 exhaust is next and leaning towards a throttle body after that. Great video keep it up 👍🏼 Happy 4th brother!!!

I just ordered a magnuson kit for my 5.7, paid $5300 after shipping and tax. It was a deal I couldn't pass up. We'll have to run the Maggie challenger vs the whipple ram sometime, if Atco stays open atleast.

DEFINITELY get it, I got the 90mm adapter n port matched the inlet of the adapter n its definitely faster just from my butt dyno
I ported the intake to match the throttle adapter plate before installing the throttle body.
Yes I did that also so it has a much better flow

So my first truck was an 06 2500 and it had over 200,000 miles on it. Never had any problems but i only hear bad opinions on the gas 5.7 hemi. Why do some ppl not like them?

I got mine off ebay brand new, mine is not ported , ill be port matching the inlet to make this bigger adapter work better

Exhaust leak turned into cracked headers😭its just my toy truck but I would rather have low end then top end.
Was wondering how you were going to get that hose clamp on after throwing on the tube and plugging in the sensor without it. Lol. Nobody wants to fully undo a hose clamp.
So if I'm going from the stock 80mm 5.7 TB to an 85mm, ill need an adapter for that as well? Shit...

Why is the intake off to the side? On my '13 and '18 RAM, the intake is on the top. I know you put a ported intake in, is that because the intake is from a car and not a RAM?
Edit: My '13 is an Express quad cab 6.5 bed and my '18 is a Bighorn quad cab 6.5 bed, both with 5.7 motor.
This intake is the intake manifold of a 6.4 hemi truck ,thats y its off to the side , its not ported when i made this video. My older 5.7 hemi truck intake was ported.

Yes u need a tune for a new cam or things can go wrong
Recently had the top end rebuilt with all comp cam parts on a 2009 ram 5.7 hemi stage 2 cam new lifters new valves and springs and had it tuned with Hp tune and still throwing a misfire on cylinder 4
It was actually a Brian Tooley racing stage 2 cam
Also chrome-olly pushrods
I saw you put in a new intake manifold. u know the one you got but did you put in injector spacers and if so where can I get those or did you tune for the 6.4 injectors and if you did that what size injectors did you go with?
I used the 6.4 injectors and got it tuned for it

I got my throttle body off a friend who works at the dealership and the adapter off eBay just search hellcat throttle body adapter n a khoas one will pop up
3.55 gears what's your opinion on the 6 speed obviously .
3.21s will be best with my stall n the whipple coming, 6 speeds are almost obsolete anymore too hard to compete with an 8 speed
I have a 6speeeith 3.55 gears also, it’s an uphill battle and it depends on how much modding you want to do. A high stall and long tubes headers with a tune will make a big difference to start with before adding a torque cam or such.. Of course, you can re-gear to which will cost a lot. I did all my mods without changing the gears and I can tell you it’s hard to compete against the other transmissions.
What size adapter did you get I have the same manifold and wanna run the 92mm or 95mm just unsure of what size adapter to get
I got the ebay adapter its only 95 dollars, but I got the 90mm adapter which is for bigger n or ported manifolds. Mmx n eBay both make adapters for ported n non ported manifolds

Honestly just get a fastman, I ran identical with both throttle bodies NA if boosted then go hellcat

Hey man, not too sure what the deal is with your State or even the situation in the U.S with this masks. In Ontario you have to wear one everywhere you go commercial. Just an idea, see you can do about some masks, I would definitely buy a few for me and my son. Also see what my fellow Ram owers think of it. As I said just a thought. Stay safe man💪👍

You just need the adapter to make the hellcarmt tb work. The 5.7 n 6.4 use the identical throttle body
