I love this pitch, but I’d change one thing: the initial introduction of Eric. Keep the intro with the year and the exterior of the Triskelion. But instead of starting at Eric’s desk, it starts in a break room/employee lounge, whatever. “Timber” is playing on Eric’s phone as he buys a bag of chips from a vending machine. The bag turns on its way down and gets jammed. Eric bangs on the glass before rocking the machine back and forth. The little locking latch by the coin return pops out; the vending machine is now open. Eric hesitates for a moment before opening the door to grab his jammed chips. He squats down, and that’s when we get our first look at Seann William Scott’s face. He grabs his chips and pauses. He looks around to make sure the coast is clear, then reaches in and takes several more. Like you said; he’s not necessarily a bad guy, just does some questionable, selfish things. He’s on his way back to his desk, staring down at his phone texting, when he accidentally bumps into a coworker. The man recoils. To Eric, the guy’s reaction is overly dramatic. He pulls out one of his earbuds. “Timber” cuts out as Eric begins asking the guy what’s wrong. That’s when he hears Steve Rogers giving his speech about SHIELD’s corruption. The guy Eric bumped into slowly reaches for a pistol. Something happens that distracts him, and Eric throws his many bags of chips into the guy’s face and sprints off as “Timber” starts playing again. That’s where your awesome idea comes back into play.
Are you a writer? Because you totally should be. If this comment is any indication of other things you do, You have an incredible talent for taking ideas to the next level
Firstly, fantastic intro, kinda sets up the “mischievous but not malicious” plot thread. Second, one minor addition. It seems like there wouldn’t be enough time for him to escape from the break room if the chip bags were the only distraction. I feel like he needs to sock the guy in the face, both to explain how he got out so easy and make him out to be someone with even more moral ambiguity.

@Greg Elchert Simple. MODOK/AIM hires Ex-Con to beef up the security system and get closer to Scott, who is obviously Ant-Man in MODOK's eyes. While doing this job, Luis stumbles across a video in the system that shows the creation of MODOK and his plans. He then quickly finds Scott and the team to tell them about what he saw.
Modok should have a shakespearean monologue when he first meets the characters, recounting his story in long-winded fashion
One of them could be an end-credit scene of another movie, or an individual short film like they did twice already with the Mandarin re-introduction and the other one...
Because yeah, amazing idea but I have no clue how I'd integrate 2-3 flash backs before the movie actually starts..
Should somebody call George "Captain Marbels" at some point?
If someone, in this version of the movie, doesn't tell Modok that he's *lost his marbles*, what's even the point?
"Timber will remind people what 2014 was like"
Terrible?
Better than 2020 in some ways.
@@loganbigmo I didn’t know 2020 was coming when I wrote that.
I was initially against the Eric O Grady mirror villain, but I'm 100% behind getting the real AIM in the MCU
Got goosebumps from that opening scene my dude! Wow we love you so much. Never stop!
just the title alone, antman and the wast and the antman is pure gold
Can I pledge 5 dollars to Kickstart this?
I went "it's gonna be MODOK isn't it" the moment he said "make a bigger brain"
This is so much better than the actual Ant-Man 3. And I like your film's title too!
wait so you're not associated with Nando's Peri-Peri?
I think of him everytime i buy it...
Its crazy how much better this is than what we actually got
I've really just started this, but I love the little Agents of SHIELD cameo, one of my favourite shows and I'm glad someone acknowledges them in this universe
"Back to formula?"
Be careful you don't pull a spiderman 3
You mean spider-man 1?
The main issue with this pitch would be how it would manage the two origin stories since there are some vast differences between the two and it *could* become confusing if placed one after another as you have presented.
That aside, great work on the pitch!! Your version of Eric's origin has some nice vibes to it
I can tell how much work went into this. Even if it's not used, this is great. (Probably better than whatever Marvel comes up with.) Great job, Nando!
So is it better than what Marvel came up with? :)
Idk tbh, Marvel clearly wanted to develop the Quantum Realm and Kang so there's no way they'd do the movie Nando pitched. But I kinda wish we could see Nando's version
This kid is a GENIUS!!
Great work Nando, keep it up!
Man, this was a way better idea.
Ant-Man... and the Wasp... and THE ANT-MAN! That would be incredible!
If there's a monologue it has to some How be delivered by Michael Penna.
