fun fact: this was intended to be in the console version but tt games changed it for some reason if you look out of bounds the 1 2 and 3 doors are there, they don't work tho
Maybe Anakin's saber was blue beacuse they just used his reagular character model (I think his blade was blue in droid factory and free play but green in this level because he lost it on genosis) Great video by the way!
Thanks for watching. Yea that's what I figured but its kind of odd that the cutscenes had it since they're not prerendered. I think they might have forgot to change it or accidently gave him the wrong one and didn't catch it.
@@Nostalgic9080probably the cutscene script specifies the lightsaber colour which was copied directly over but the character model pulls it's colour from completely different data, given the general unfinished feel of the level (especially the couple grunts that phase through a door) it was probably a low-priority bug they never got around to fixing
In the Count Dooku level when the Geonosians shoot at you, it makes the green blaster sound when they actually have red blasters. In the first game, there are two types of Geonosians: one with the green blaster and one with the red blaster.
I never knew this game came out for PSP, it seems like it tried to be much more like the original console version, the other lego games is much different.
It would have been nice if these levels still kept their Mini-Kits but changed them to the signature vehicle of that episode, like Darth Maul's level is the Naboo Starfighter and you can view the three finished kits what would be the seating in the room those level doors are, since there's no reason to play them aside from getting the characters in those levels for 100% and getting some more Studs.
I only played the PSP version of this recently when I got it running on my PSP emulator in Retro Arch on the Raspberry Pi 400. This is the only way I can play something close to the console version of the game on a Raspberry Pi.
Nice! Keep up the videos man. Really enjoy your videos. Fun fact, This version of Lego Star Wars II was my nostaglic and favorite Lego game of all time along with Complete Saga as a kid the same way when i think of when you say Lego Star Wars II on DS was your favorite. But nice video still, btw.
Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Wow that's cool you know there are probley a lot of people out there that played this version first. Believe it or not there are some differences between the two and I look forward to exploring this game more. My favorite version of the game is the gamecube/PS2 game but I still enjoy the ds version because it was my first ever Lego/Star Wars game and I also enjoyed the quirkiness. The review redo that I'm working on will be a little more harsh the the previous one so stay tuned.
theres really no reason why the bounty hunter missions wouldnt have fit on the psp, given they all reuse existing maps. i think this was done because they knew LSW2 was the only one that was going to be on PSP, so they dropped the BHMs for 3 boss ports
I got to play LSW II on the PSP multiple times and the problem with half of the screen being black at the beginning of the Darth Vader cutscene is the emulator's faul, if played on a PSP that doesn't happen.
I was going to comment saying the lightsaber colour thing is probably because the cutscenes are pre-rendered, but then I saw a reply saying they're not pre-rendered. So idk. The devs just felt like annoying people who pay attention to that I suppose
You can unlock the old characters from beating the blue minikit challenges
Yoda coming in like a badass and immediately dying in 3:41 is my favourite thing ever.
These videos are really awesome man, plus this version also has blue minikit challenges, just like complete saga.
That's cool I didn't see that going to have to check it out and see if there are any differences between it and TCS.
The three levels were ripped from the first game, but in the Complete Saga, they were updated to include features from the second game.

The first Lego game I played and the one I most played was LSW2 for PSP in his gives me so many memories
Oh man this takes me back when i originally played this game on psp non stop
Fun fact: In the Yoda's house in Dagobah you can't destroy the objects there for some reason
I never knew this game came out for PSP, it seems like it tried to be much more like the original console version, the other lego games is much different.
I’m pretty sure besides the hub, it’s basically just a 1 to 1 port of the OG Trilogy game, with these additional levels from the first one.
1:52 They should have just had that door never open.
Pretty sure the cutscene being broken is an emulator issue, I’ve played though that level on my PS Vita and didn’t see that problem

i hope you make more videos about this version i used to play it a lot before finding out my pc can handle the originals and tcs

I agree
Blue Lightsaber Padawan Anakin is peak
Red Lightsaber Jedi Anakin is also peak.

4:21
It’s the emulator
It happens Played Silent Hill Origins and I had graphical glitches like that happen a couple times in cutscenes
i didnt know this version of the game existed
Apparently you don't unlock Yoda in the episode 2 level, because Dagobah.
Have you played the gba games? very rough experience
I'm actually in the process of making a video for that right now.
@@Nostalgic9080 Awesome, I have 2 physical on gba, Definitively the weirdest lego game Ive played
Unintentional ASMR ahhhh voice
I didn’t had Episode -3 half black screen while on emulator
Bro! Prequel boss battles! 😮
