Alicia Monson is one of our top three middle/ long distance runners. Her best event might be the 10,000 meters even though she just set the American record at the 3000. Yet, she is a great runner that so few know. Everyone knows Katelyn Tuohy (I am in her fan club!), who has lost to Alicia both times she has faced her. Katelyn deserves all of the praise and attention, and will even become more of a household name after she gets out of college. My question is why doesn’t Alicia get the same praise and attention?
