  • The On Athletics Club hit the track for a workout at CU Boulder on Sunday afternoon. 2021 Olympian and 2022 U.S. 10,000m runner-up Alicia Monson ran 1600; 3 x 2000m; 4 x 200m
    HER SPLITS:
    1600 progressing each lap: 4:26
    3x2k: 6:25, 6:29, 6:25
    4x200: 34s to 31s

    This will get you excited and ready for an epic showdown at the Millrose Games as Monson takes on 5000m European champion Konstanze Klosterhalfen in the women's 3000m. With a new Millrose Games and Armory facility record of 8:31.62 under her belt from last year, can she defend her title and take down the American record of 8:25.70?     Monson will open up her 2023 campaign with a mile at the Dr. Sander Invitational this weekend in New York City.

    Underrated addition to the OAC was not just having Josette who is a world class runner but also having Robby being able to help pace there workouts.

    The US record for the mile is 4:16.85 and Alicia ran only 10 seconds at altitude in training! Incredible.
