Here it is guys - our 12 favourite drag races from the past 12 months!
Now we know 2020 hasn’t been a good year for most of us, but at least there’s been one positive - our drag races have been bigger and better than ever!
Kicking off with an almighty five-car showdown in January to the X6M smashing another SUV drag race in December, we had such a hard time condensing our favourite races to a list of just 12!

Why? The acceleration of petrol the desiel has no chance? Just look as estimated 0-100 times
I find deiseal versions launch and pull a little high but get beaten at the mid to high range

Yes they are but from a rolling race standpoint the other cars will fly by past. Except of course cars like audi r8 v10 plus, porsche hypercar 918, bmw m8 cs etc.

But in terms if gasoline man the porsches put ur head back in the seat. Coming from my experience who sat in a 991 turbo s for a *dRiVe*

There is a problem with the demon it's rwd drive and the track is not a prepped surface so it will be a spinning Monster
@@cereal_dispenser I agree, the Demon was built for American 1/4 mile Drag Strips, not runways in British weather. So, in conclusion, it would struggle.

Would love to see races next year of different cars with the same number of cylinders. For example, battle of the v10s like LFA, Carrera Gt, Huracan, R8 etc and so on for v8’s and v12 cars.

When the new Golf R comes out, drag race the 2001 R32, 2006 R32, MK6 Golf R, MK7 Golf R and the MK8 Golf R. It's good seeing how performance hatchbacks have come up through the generations, especially one of the most iconic ones.

What a year for Mat and the Carwow crew following since 2016 and never disappointed! Keep pushing guys!
I love the fact when mclaren runs slow in the beginning and smashes out after some time in both drag and rolling races. For me, passing by in high speed is more fun than keeping in first from the beginning till end.
The 720s walking away from the pista is an iconic piece of carwow history
My favourite drag race this year was the one with the lorries lol! So fun let’s see one in the future with a Tesla Semi truck well that’s if you can get them in the UK.
My favorite drag race was the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ vs the Ferrari 812 Superfast vs the Porsche 911 Turbo S because literally everything went perfect, the cars where awesome, and the results where exactly what I expected.

So for fairness you need to get rid of the 3,2,1 starts and go to an F1 style start. 5 lights on, then a random wait until all lights are out before anyone reacts. I feel like some starts are 'anticipated' lol to say the least. Looking forward to 2021's drag races.
