We’ve got a 1600hp Nissan GT-R going head-to-head with a 1200hp Audi R8 & a 1,100hp McLaren 720S… And trust us, it’s absolutely EPIC!
So let’s run through the stats. First up we’ve got Mat in the GT-R, which would normally have a 3.8-litre twin-turbo V6… But it’s had a full engine rebuild and it’s now packing a 4.1-litre twin-turbo V6 which delivers a humungous 1,600hp & 1,500Nm!! It also rolls up with AWD and weighs in at 1,750kg.
Next up we have Auto Torque’s Audi R8. Yianni’s in it, and he’s looking forward to feeling its 5.2-litre NA V10 in action once again! And it’s no surprise, given it delivers 1200hp & 930Nm of torque! It’s also slightly lighter than the GT-R, at 1,650kg.
Then finally we have the 720S. Of course, it’s been tuned, so its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 now delivers 1,100hp and 950Nm. It’s easily the lightest car here, at 1,400kg, but it’s got one big disadvantage - it’s only RWD!

That has to be the best tuned GTR I've ever observed. I've definitely seen more powerfUl GTRs but bone of them were this perfect. Excellent race guys.

Skylines were always surprising, but when the GTRs starting beating the Australian V8 touring cars, the whole world sat up and paid attention. Of course, that's where/when the GTR was christened, "Godzilla - the monster from Japan." 🤣 🤣

Well the Rimac would still do the 1/4 mile in 0.3 less than the GTR, so the gap between them would about as big as between the GTR and R8.

This would be a race of cars on 8's time because that Lambo did a 8.9 sec and it might do better (maybe) then 8.9 but who knows. A race would be awesome to find out 😃

Let alone that the Rimac is a *2 millions* car. But I agree over the fact that EV are the future, and have more ''potential'' of being faster compared to ICE cars in general. Buy any car enthusiast will take ICE before IVs.

Yeah, they shouldn't make claims like that , until they're reasonably close to actually releasing that car. The latest I've heard, they still haven't reached 100 mph yet. It also appears their suspension isn't adequate for the claimed horsepower and speed.

There are two scary things about driving a tuned GTR:
The first is when the car decides to get on boost.
The second is when it starts to make a grinding noise.
I like the videos on this channel and, out of the 3, I'd definitely go with the GTR. What I could do without is Mat talking

The (stock) Turbo S is in a completely different class. I don't see the point of it being in such a race. Maybe for comparison - to see just how much faster they are than an extremely fast stock car...

Like Porsche (hate porsches), lambos, audi R8s and Mclaren 720s. For 11 years the GTR has been a killer. Still is. Would just like to see thIs GTR vs that green Lambo.
