Thanks for the video. How long would it take for professional garage to replace front and rear coil springs? Is there any difference in difficulty for front and rear? They told me front is more difficult to change. Is that true? They will charge 2 hours labor for front and 1 hour for rear.
I would say that is fair. There is a lot more to disconnect and move out of the way in the front. The rear on the only Touareg is slightly more difficult to line up.
@@havakoverland1655 Thank you for replying. I paid my local garage £165 for the front and £245 for the rear. The part cost is included in the price. Plus VAT. Total £492. United Kingdom
It looks like your black rims and tires are nearly contacting the back of the wheel wells. Can you turn the wheels lock to lock without hitting the chassis?
I’m glad it helped! I’m not looking to do that on this one. If it was a v8, or at least the 3.6, I’d look into it more seriously. I’d even consider it if this one had significantly less miles. But, we’ll see. Maybe I’ll change my mind. Good luck on your build! Let me know how I can help!
Just started watching the video but confused are you like 8ft tall or something? It looks like you’re literally head and shoulders over the roof and have to bend over to measure the wheel arch height
Exactly what I’m looking out for
Wouldve been nice if you added how to removed top hat
What material are these washers made of, steel / aluminum / plastic?
Are the shock absorbers with stock travel or are they longer?
This was very helpful. Appreciate the video and the great prices on your website.
Hi, what spring compressor did you use? Just got the lift part but can not get the springs all the way down... Thanks in advance
Very nice! My T-Reg would like to be taller.
You must take 2inch of travling schok move when lift like this ?
cant really see what he is doing all you see is end product and his back while he is doing it

There is no rubbing in the rear so far. The fronts did require some trimming, but not they do turn lock to lock without rubbing.
Would it be okay to run the 2” spacers without the subframe spacers? It won’t compromise the axels?
Has been fine so far! No clicking at all.
Looking to get a Touareg so this was helpful.. Are you planning on doing lockers at all?

@@havakoverland1655 Just out of curiously why no locker with the VR6? You did a loft so i imagen you are doing some off roading.
@@watsonsynthetics I suppose I should t rule it out. Just not currently in the plans.
@@watsonsynthetics They come with a center diff lock standard.
I'm selling a really nice V8 with Air Suspension.

Haha. Not quite. Just the way the camera shows it. I’ll work on better, more accurate, angles next time.
