I have a HP laptop and and iPad, when I making things that small things to be layered. I save it to the cloud, open up the project on the iPad so I can take a photo of my mat and place the cuts where I need them to go more accurately. This helps me waste less vinyl and it takes the guess work out or mat placement with just using my laptop.

Hi Amy, I use a laptop with a docking station. This allows me to have 2 large screens. I can also leave my laptop open 3 screens. 😊 It is very simple to unplug for on the go. It’s great! So you don’t need a desktop! I sure here is some way the iPad could be set up to use with a screen as well.

Exactly what I do with my MacBook Pro..I have two Samsung curves..I’m able to do extended screens while the Mac is closed via usbc cables..if u connect an iPad to a monitor it will only do dual monitor mode not extended
i had the opposite experience- i am missing features in pc but have them in ipad!
I have the explore 2 and I use both an android and iPhone. Down side to android is there isn't as many features like the ones for ios

Thank you for your video. I do have a laptop but is really old, slow and the screen turns red every now and then and I am debating between a tablet or a laptop. For me and for where I live, Windows and Android products are way cheaper than Apple.

Why does the design space look different on my iPad?
This was filmed several years ago - probably an update change!
iPad screen small and it is so slow.
I’ve tried using my iPhone… It has no features really I can not😩😩😩
There are requirements. if you have s mode you have to take out of that mode. If your computer had an upgrade from windows 7 and you upgraded to 11. Cricut soft wear will pick up the 7 not the upgrade. I have had these problems and looking for a new laptop. the cheap ones have SSD mode. it has to have and intel dual core of 4 g b or more. Cricut site has all what is needed. I was given the Cricut as a gift. The desk top I have it will not work on because of their soft wear is picky. One expensive hobby.
Word of advice: you need 4 GB Ram to run Design Space and also, Android tablets do not get the full spectrum of Design space, you'll be missing some actions to perform. The Android tablet featured above is only 2 mb Ram. Be Careful.
