For your Bonecrusher, I recommend thickening those loose parts with floor finish and if the access gloss bothers you, dab it up with paint-on varnish which you can get at your local hobby store

according to my 6 year old: "no you're not (a bad man) you're the greatest Transformer guy I ever saw!" High praise from a kid that does know all the names of the construction equipment.
I wanted Devastator so much as a kid that I ended up buying the G2 version when I was in high school, which shows how nerdy I am. The yellow isn't as cool as the light green, but it's better than the orange than quickly replaced it.
the big difference between G1 and modern toys is that in G1 they started with the vehicle and tried to figure out how to make it a robot. With the modern figures, they start with the robot and try to figure out how to make it a vehicle.
I used to have these, then my stupid dog chewed 2 of them up and then they couldnt transform into the bigger one so i had to throw them away. :( Now after watching this i want to get them again. Great review as always Mitch!
Had them at age 5 with many of them long lost or stolen long ago. Had Mixmaster and Scavenger left behind with the Devastator head alone. Thanks for the nostalgia.
Hooks a tough one to find cheap. I had a problem finding a good shape hip piece that plugs into Long Haul at a reasonable price too. the little green one..

Love the throwbacks...I have a knockoff and the encore set...love them both...also have the JB upgrade and the first x-transbot ( crap) set for these figures. Always wanted one ( had a K.O. I had these until I needed some cash and discovered ebay! lol I used to love Bonecrusher. I thought his transformation was really good for the time. Easily the best combiner team IMO.
A Devastator...sadly, I am really lacking on my G1 Combiners...as in I have only one complete one, the BBTS Seacons...I also have the Universe Desert Camo repaint of Ruination...:( I only have 2 G1 Constructicons, I have most of the Stunticons, and a few of the Terrorcons, but that is about it I am afraid....at least I have the FP Bruticus, so that makes me happy :)

I was sooo excited the day I got that "set". - i rushed home and tryed to asemble the "devastator" just to find out that I didnt have the "hook/crane"/head piece.. going back to the same store again and again, but they NEVER had the last one on their shelf.. damn..
Great set. I own them too but from G2 European series from 90's that were sold as a individual heroes without an option to merge into Devastator. I had to buy spare parts from KO's or destroyed G1 figures. Finding G2 US Constructicon parts for European version was impossible.
Cant remember price. BBTS but I will say this. If I got a toy at retail, it would be at TRU or Walmart or Target. If not its most likely from BBTS or Ebay. But I also have a couple of super secret hookups that I wheel and deal and trade and haggle with so if I dont say the price and where I got it. Thats why. :)

Cybertron...Predaking....just Devistator alone is going for 500 dollars...image if i still had my whole collection...what that would all go for combined....just nvr had the mindset to save my toys as i grew up....but i would keep em now just cuz of nostalgia...they just dont make them as good now as they did in the 80's...i may of had Omega Supreme...not rlly sure if i did...but looking bak now...i wish i had put em all n a box & n my attic...but nvr did...sad face...wish i had kept all my Voltron toys aswell...again...sad face...tnks RUclips channel for helping me get this off my chest....now i just have Devastator n google search image now...

I have 4 of the 6 and the chest piece working on someday completing. The 4 pieces were all flea market finds in near mint condition. Very good video!
