for anyone having trouble with the adhesive and the snapcar... use boiling hot water to reawaken the adhesive and put a book on top of your case for 30-60 minutes. should stay put

@@martinvillanueva2071 so far so good just after a few hours of trying it out! I’ve never been a huge pop socket fan with them being so bulky, but I go suckered into an Instagram ad and thought it was pretty cool to have all those features, but also have it being super slim with MagSafe capabilities. It’ll be a learning curve on actually springing it open to use, but the kickstand mode makes it a definite keeper

Adhesive is the issue for me and a $1500 phone.
I have the same issue where it pops off the car mount… but I find sliding it off as a habit sorts that issue. Not the best workaround
I just got mine I absolutely love it! Not sure how I feel about the use of adhesive though so for now just dedicated it to my clear rhino shield case. Kinda want that stone color version
I peeled the adhesive off and it works perfectly fine on my iphone 15pm

The plastic doesn't collapse correctly after long use. Sometimes if your finger is in the center of the plastic it forces the plastic to bend the other way and then when you press to close it, it doesn't collapse right.

Had mine 1 week, plastic snapped.
Mine broke after like 2 weeks. 😢 but OhSnap is sending me another one! :) there was another issue with mine too so…

Mine broke in 2 days . Doesn’t swivel like it first did . Kept coming off my case with my car mount .
Can you use it with an otterbox defender?
The magnets on mine are extremely strong almost too strong. I think the actual grip part isn’t as good as a pop socket but you don’t get these features on a pop socket. My only complaint is I think the actually part that pops up could be made out of better material because the plastic will eventually break because it’s so thing. Should have been metal.
The plastic does have a very cheap feeling. However, I have had any issues with it yet.

Probably because you didn't make sure the osnap was properly stuck to your phone because it definitely shouldn't come off that easily. You have to give it time to adhesve to the phone!

Does not work with Mous cases Clarity 2.0 on the iPhone 15 Pro. Still a rad little piece of equipment.
The trade offs aren’t worth it. The cons outweigh the pros with the snap 4. Awkward to open and close and grip is loose and spins too freely to hold it without constant tension
What is the brand and name of the car mount you are using? I have using those magnetic finger ring that have n55 magnet on it. The magnetic strength is super strong. Is this snap 4 luxe as comforable?

i threw away the adhesive ring because i wanted the liberty of putting it in other cases i dint know it can be re used
I use mine on a galaxy s20. I'm not sure why but the magnet is weak. Not strong enough to hold the weight of my phone to anything metal.
I have a very important question for you... does your magsafe puck heat up any more than usual leaving this on while charging?
I use a grip from a different company which also allows magsafe charge through.... but I noticed that the charger gets a little hotter than it normally would if I removed the grip first.
Does this one do that?
It does heat up more, it's metal, not plastic like before. More premium but it does get a bit warmer when wireless charging. Wasn't a deal breaker for me tho, it's still good enough, I don't worry
@cesarfabriciomusayonsalced3184 it's not just the stainless steel around the outside that I have the concern with it's more so the magnets that they have placed within especially in the center.
But you have answered my question and I now know that I will be removing the adhesive prior to installation this way I can remove it when I want to put a charger on.
Chargers getting unnecessarily warm do not only damage to the phone battery but can also swell and damage the charger and or battery pack.
I get how they're trying to make it so that you don't have to remove it when you want to attach other things say as a charger but as the old saying goes just because you can doesn't mean you should
The plastic part that scissors under the top of the grip has gotten misaligned super quickly for me, which makes properly closing it ridiculously over complicated. I really wish they would have made a better design instead of what we got. I ordered a Tango grip that should come in next week. Here’s to hoping that one is better.
I’ve been trying to find an answer to a question I have maybe you can help me. If it sticks to fridges and anything metal will loose change in a bag or keys stick to the magnets that are on the snap 4?
No, the metal in coins can’t be picked up by magnets nowadays

Not true. You just have to make sure the area you are applying it to is a flat surface, and that you are applying it correctly. I have the Snap 4 Luxe on a non mag safe case for my heavy Samsung Z Fold 5, and it holds the phone perfectly fine on wall mounts and while using the grip. I have no worry of it falling off of the case, and I've given it a good shake as well. It works perfectly fine without magsafe.
Mine literally broke after 24 hours… it won’t rotate anymore, smh.
I think a proper review of this product would include using a fairly standard case, AND using it on an android phone since those don't have mag safe, and the company claims it works with Android phones as well. I suspect you would not get similar results...
They work perfectly on Android phones. I've used multiple ohsnaps on multiple androids.

What about putting it on a MagSafe case, and then using it on a MagSafe car charger?
It will work. But it’s noticeably slower charging
Is the hinge to base still plastic? If it is it won’t last long like the 3.
Not true i have had every version and it can definitely last long. And they have free replacement which ive used at least 10 times and never had any difficulty with it
@@topgroyal2322 within one year now. Had to replace snap 3 hella times snap 2 was more durable I’ve had them all as well. Guy below comment said his broke within two weeks.

I guess you use a spoon to remove it…and then the adhesive is reusable after running it under like warm water and letting it dry. Pretty cool
