    Another inspiration from my role model: 'Don't let the noise of others opinion drown down your own inner voice.' Every time I listen him tears roll down on my checks and I feel like I am about to scream loud..

      @Gouki6669 9 лет назад +2

      syed asrar ahmed its important to know the diffrence though. Yes dont let the noise of others opinion drown you down, BUT its allways good too listen and take others thoughts in to considiration. Because when you do that, you allow yourself to take in new perspektives and new ways of thinking, and therefore evolve they way you think. However its important to also not let others voice walk over yours entirely.

    I left the well worn path and my heart has brought me this far, Steve.

    He did great things, he grasped the impossible things. He clutched the leaves of innovation as they drifted in the wind. He picked from the tree that he held most personally an apple.
    Steve Jobs was one of the greatest business men to ever have lived.
    Steve Jobs saw the world that didn't exist yet and brought it into our own.
    Steve Jobs was change, he never turned away from the impossible out of fear, he studied it, learnt from it, and most importantly he created it.
    The man now so sadly is dead, but his legacy lives on, his mind his power to innovate has left its mark on our lives forever.
    RIP Steve Jobs

    There is not one person that gave away free advice like this wonderful human being, I have been listening to his speeches since a few weeks now, I can't stop, it's my daily penence, he his my guru, my imaam and above all my god, that just left this world before his time. At this age of 74 with a broken spirit and soul I am trying to make a comeback after I heard him speak in several videos, if I don't make it Steve at least I tried, and if I make it, it will all be because of you my man. So amazing, and I agree. I'm not sure I have aver heard anything as inspirational. I never met Steve Jobs in person, but sold, and repaired his products circa 1980 in the first computer store in the world. Coincidentally named "the Computer Store". back when 16K add-ons were $150, a letter quality printer was $3000, 100K disk drives were $600, and people were kinder. :)

    • @SoundsSilver
      @SoundsSilver 2 года назад +1

      To be fair, customers that could afford those prices at that time period would have been fairly wealthy, so that might help to explain their kinder demeanor some.

    • @jmiskinis
      @jmiskinis 2 года назад +1

      @@SoundsSilver Thanks for your comment, and for reading mine. I was implying that people in general were kinder back then, not just the ones who could buy the Apple products at those "expensive" prices. Of course, it might have something to do with the fact that most people did not use computers back then, there were virtually no portable phones, and a lot less traffic on the roads and in other places. Of course I was approaching 20 years of age or so, back then, and very enthusiastic to be working with, and on, those computers without the need to purchase one myself. :)

    A truly brilliant man. I am happy that I read his autobiography. I learned so much from it. I wonder how many people know that Steve was an adopted child. His birth mother was Syrian. She wanted to have an abortion. The family Jobs could not have children.
    They begged her to have the child to enable them to adopt. She agreed and the baby was adopted.
    Imagine if she did not agree and went ahead with the abortion. There would not have been an Apple enterprise.
    After school, Steve's ambition was to do nothing. He travelled to India. Returned to America, starting his printed circuit board business in his father's garage with Steve Wosniak.
    How did Apple get its name? I know. Very interesting. The answer is in his autobiography.
    Steve also teased Japanese business men during board meetings. He placed his barefeet on the conference table in the direction of their face. This in Japanese tradition is considered an insult.
    I have lots of admiration and respect for Steve Jobs. A true legend.

    Answer to some: He loved his work, his family and life. No abandonment anywhere.
    He took time with all with what he could give at the time. He tried and loved many yet those
    who didn't know him closely were unfortunate not to see or ignore that side of him.
    I saw, I know, I felt, I heard, I experienced the best of him. Thinking of him dearly today on his 61st birthday
    if it was meant to be, but sadly, it was not. For those who still believe everything negative you read, God bless your
    ignorance and pray your brain will come to pass into knowledge and hope and happy living for your future and better judgement of others you don't know personally.

    These are empty words for the ordinary people who work in lower positions with lower wages and struggle to survive and look after his family. I heard million times words like 'find something to do you have passion, do what you love' etc. such bullcrap... reality is totally different. People work to survive and most of 'em do jobs which they don't like. Nobody addresses these majority, it's all about the extra talented or top educated minority.

      Then you need to find a motivational speaker that is right for you. Motivation is all depending on the audience, so there is a variety. Steve Jobs is well known so he will pop up first for most of these things. And I always saw it more as striving towards a goal when you can. When you are unable to, continue pushing through what you are able to, and take any opportunity to further your dream. Sometimes, people have a lot more pathways than they realize. Motivational speaking is to try and help people realize it.
      Note: I am pretty sure this speech was presented at a college commencement, exactly the audience you siad it would be for. So, it really is perfect for that situation, and was written for that situation.
