I am of 14 . My dad has retired so I think how I will I study in expensive universities but when I hear all will be dead soon , I think that I will one day o can't also become like him . I was getting goosebumps while going through the video. Literally, I am a digital entrepreneur, so I study other successful people. A common direction I have always found is that they all were CRAZY dreamers and RISK takers. These 2 entities were not taught to me in school. Whatever, the edit was done amazingly well. If your motivation is money you will fail. Most people that dream of being an "entrepreneur" aren't dreaming of the products or services they create or the journey in creating them. They are dreaming of having a Ferrari and a Malibu mansion. This is where passion for what you are doing comes in. The reality is, you will likely fail, multiple times before you will ever succeed. Most people can't get through the failure and give up. If you have passion for what you are doing, you will never give up, even if you never succeed.
Look at many high powered executives/CEO's. Most of these people work these jobs till they keel over, they are rich enough they could have retired 20 years ago, but they keep going. They have passion for what they are doing. Even though they could retire to a beach, they keep doing it.
The reality is, most people are just worker bees. That isn't a knock, the world needs worker bees and it ain't like you can't get wealthy being one. With that said, most people are just putting in their time till they can retire comfortably. They may fantasize about helming a start up, may even give it the old college try. But their passions and goals are off, they are in it for the wrong reasons.
All you people saying you want to be like Jobs. How many of you REALLY have passion for the work and how many of you, the real motivation lies in the image, the celebrity and wealth?
Steve still works in us, in a mysterious way.

Don't see it this way. It's more like "You aren't stupider than others.". The comparison was intended between Stanford graduates, or as analogy, about what you know in your domain you work as a professional in that you already succeed and what other people with more success than you in that specific domain knows.
There's plenty of stupid people in the world, and nobody denied that, even them.
Ary I don’t disagree that there are unintelligent people, but those people can change. I do disagree with the idea that just because someone went to a certain school, or are getting a certain degree, that they are “smart”. I think “smart” has many different definitions. I think a quote like this can be used out of context, and it will still fit.
It may of been others progress that made the programming. But it was Steves Dream and determined mind that made apple what it is today.

Struggled with lot of failure to ultimately gain success, Steve Jobs' life story (as told) is very inspirational. I found many comments below a bit disturbing though they may have truth in them. R.I.P Steve Jobs.
