- We all remember the iconic ending to Wrestlemania 31 where Seth Rollins pulled off the heist of the century. Well his title reign after was up and down with well.... some good and some bad. So with the introduction of the world heavyweight champion I thought It would be fun to take a look at Seth Rollins first run as WWE champion, as he seems to be the favourite to win it. Enjoy!

should Rollins be the first World Heavyweight Champion? 👀
I would love it.
I think Solo will win it by Romans command
Definately
Definitely 💯
@@danielborgman4308 Solo is on Smackdown and world Heavyweight title is for Raw. 0% chance
My favourite version of Seth to this day. This shoulda lasted longer. He taught what a peak heel can look like. Being slimy, a spoiled brat, who was so lost in his own hype and self proclaimed future thing, Rollins nailed this character! This was his best run for me.
Yeah this was one of the best characters of a wrestler in WWE history in my opinion. It was very memorable
I agree with everything you said except him being the best Seth...
Despite not being a champion since years he has delivered every single time and gets the heat in very well nowadays...
This Seth is the best there ever has been
I liked today's Seth more tbh. The way he's over with the crowd. Every single one of his promos feels amazing because of the crowd singing his song. Makes him look like a million bucks. Seth's also better in ring he has such good matches these days. He can have an amazing match with anyone.
But the thing was he never seemed that strong. He always needed help like he was a midcarder atleast Roman looks strong. Current version of Seth is a main eventer and he atleast deserves a good run as a strong heel or anti hero. Remember he is the only one whom Roman hasn't beat yet
Definitely the best iteration of Seth Rollins. I might be in the minority but I don’t greatly dig the singing gimmick he’s doing now with his theme song but what can you do still a great performer nonetheless
Seth Rollins was booked to look like a coward Champion but he made it work so well and made it so memorable that no one will ever forget this title reign. It was really fun and is a predicament of how good Seth Rollins was back then.
Fun he was the worst champion
@@Jajshshshs see he even made u believe that and made u hate him that's how great he is
@@neerajn2397 lmao 😂 he was a boring champ gimmick was great but his champion reign was boring he failed in 2015 and 2019 and he is going to fail in 2023
@@Jajshshshse didn't fail in 2015 though
People remember that title reign of his fondly
@@Jajshshshsif you want to talk about failures check everything roman reigns done until he turned heel
Heel Rollins as the WWE Champion was the best thing about the WWE back in 2015, before he blew out his knee and went on the shelf for seven months. Rollins with the Authority & JJ Security was pure gold. Between his feud with the Shield and the feud and matches he had with guys like Brock Lesnar and John Cena, he was a breath of fresh air during that time and gave the company a new face to be the main guy while he held the title.
In 2015 Seth Rollins was Really on another level but it sucks perhaps his best run was ruined due to injury
@@keoncarr129 100%
The variety of opponents was what made this title reign interesting imo
I still think this was his best run. Then again, nostalgia could be playing a role in that. Great video
Wassup pllana
I think the kingslayer run was better
never thought 2015 would ever be considered nostalgia for the Ruthless Aggression kids haha
@@SuperkickStudiosI’m a RA kid and I’m saying this was nostalgic to me.
@@SuperkickStudios I feel like 2015 John cena was better then 2015 Seth Rollins
This was the best version of Seth Rollins in my opinion. He carried that company on his back during his reign. His matches were incredible during this time. The way the camera shifts from the wwe logo to seth coming out for his entrance was always nice. I know alot of people would like for seth to win the world heavyweight title, but with this laughing and randomly dressed character , i cant take that seriously.
You gotta just relax and enjoy something for once yes it's not normal but it's still good
No
Seth's physique in the heist of century was epic, he just lookss so out of shape rn...
I enjoyed the story of Seth needing the authority to later he didn’t need them anymore. He went from needed them to win mitb to beating guys like Ambrose, Kane and sting on his own with no help
This was my personal favorite Seth Rollins gimmick, My only problem is the fact that Dean Ambrose never defeated him only in a cash in.
TLC 2018
@@TheGamerRist unfortunately that was after Dean was Flaming Hot everyone loved him
Pause...
He was the Kenny Omega of WWE. Having good matches every week.
he crushed the in ring work for sure.
still does
WrestleMania 31 was the first PPV I ever saw live! Because my mom brought me the WWE Network that day when I was 13 years ago!
13 years old. I was also 13 in 2015
I was 11 and it wss my first wm aswell, everyone shits on wwe in 2015 but i love it dur to nostalgia
@@steverogers2755 Cool! I finally got my mom to get me the WWE Network that morning and spend all day figure out how to order the network!
@@ConquestadorExplore 2015 had it good point and it mad points! I think at the time it was frustrating, but what time away from it nearly a decade it was good considering what we got in 2018 and 2019! At least in 2015 they didn’t buried an entire match like Hell In Cell!
@@lastdayonearthmysteryman4849 ofc, but what I meant I cant get mad at 2015 myself even if I try to objectively i enjoy it... My introduction to wrestling hah.
But with ones like 2018 or 2019 yea.. they objectively sucked
This run was great! Sad it ended to due to injury. Where’s that WrestleMania vid btw?
got too busy with school so I didnt drop the mania video. was too late
Sadly, I never watched this run live as I wasn’t watching WWE at the time, but when I did on the network and of course clips on RUclips, I definitely have to say, this was definitely Seth’s best run/gimmick that he’s had. As much as I love the Visionary, Monday Night Messiah, and The Shield, the amount of great stuff he did here was just incredible. This is why I love Seth Rollins as he can make anything work. Awesome video, homie, and I’m glad you’re back, safe and healthy.😊👍
appreciate it man!
Not every champion has to be undefeated like Roman. Heels can eat some losses and cheat to win
very fair... but taking an L to Joey Mercury kinda odd
@@SuperkickStudios I mean even AJ lost to James elsworth, but obviously it had it's shenanigans
Both of the open challenge matches that Neville accepted from Seth and Cena were some of my all time favorite matches of Seth’s run. Shame they didn’t give him a chance to shine with a title run until the cruiserweight division on 205 live which barely anyone watched
From 2014-2016 Seth's physique was so great it's sad he is losed his physique hope he builds his muscles back
He needed to slim down to start wearing his wifes clothes to the ring. Like what is this gimmick of his besides I got dressed in the dark?
@@richborn6700 Over. That's what this gimmick is.
2016-2018 he was actually bigger and muscular... Looked same level as Roman Reigns
Also, for some reason, 14 year old me always saw Seth as a mixture of Edge and CM Punk during this period
I think if Seth never got injured, we would’ve had a Shield Triple Threat for the main event of WrestleMania 32
definitely a possibility
I agree
fun fact- they were building seth as the top babyface, after his injury wwe went after roman to make him babyface
@@joprincess6021 False, Seth was never the guy. It was always Roman. Seth was basically their project to fill the void until Roman was ready.
This is legit what Seth himself has said.
I really loved this reign. Even though I was 4 years old I went back and watched this reign and it was really good. I wish that he could get a reign as world heavyweight champ but I hope Drew wins it
4 years old? Lmao
@@renegradermax yes, 4 years old
damn making me feel old
@@SuperkickStudios 🤣🤣🤣
I was 15 years old. I’m 23 now😢 I’m mimicked Seth Rollins, a tire as a teen and Ortons walk. Such a time. I was 4 years old watching Triple H as world champion 😅
Seth Rollins Was The Edge Version Of A Heel During This Time
No, he wasn't lol
@@LarryDaGoat23 yes he wasn't he was better than edge
@@pubgwithtasin9533 you marks are so delusional 😂😂
@@Apdds-du4ir Rollins sucks lmao he was a mid heel the fact that Mark said Rollins is better than Edge shows he knows nothing about wrestling 😂
@Atharva 🤣your daddy told you Seth Rollins is a rating slayer 🤣🤣 he is the most over wrestler in 2023 🤣
This title run is so nostalgic for me, i started watching wwe again at wrestlemania 31 and seth rollins became my favorite wrestler at that moment and he still is
Ahhh, I remember watching this feud for two years. And it was the most amazing thing. This was the peak of me watching WWE.
Prime Seth imo
Bro his matches during that time uploaded on RUclips have well over 1million views. Pre injury seth was a different breed.
Post shield 2014-15 Rollins will always be my favourite version of Seth....I personally think it was a good reign and Seth hasn't been as entertaining as then sense
loved his MITB run tbh
Best run, classic matches from late 2014 to 2015 🙂
This guy used to boil my blood as a kid man, really hated how he always cheated in his title defences, but now I can appreciate him.
Probably the best years for very good storylines it was like the story goes to somewhat satisfying especially with WM 29,30,31 its like WWE just fading especially after WM 32
This was his best run without question. He should've kept the title way longer and I wish it would've continued until at least Mania 32. The title run had the potential to be a classic but we all know useless injury played a huge part in ruining something truly special
Nah, it should've ended at Survivor Series with Roman getting his ultimate revenge
2015 is in my opinion Seth Rollins’ prime of his career. He had all the heat after betraying his Shield brothers and had his best title reign to date. He’s been booked kinda inconsistent since he returned from his knee injury and his title reigns grow stale very quickly. 2015 was his best year, yessir.
I love watching your vids while studying
Superkick studios back again
🤝
I miss 2015 rollins
J&J Security Seth Rollins was comedy gold & his best title run to me. That's when he started the maniacal laugh that we have today. When he finally stopped running from everybody, he had some of his best matches. (i.e. the Randy Orton knee RKO match)
he always had best matches even when running away from people
The Greatest heist of the century!
He was the best thing in 2015 wwe...the authority boy, a slimy cunning champ with j&j security.
The best Wwe title reign in the past 10 years ❤
This is my 2nd favorite version of Seth. My favorite is his current drip god gimmick. But this version of Rollins was definitely a good heel and his best in ring gear.
Current Rollins doesn't get enough credit, the dude is red hot with the fans and has been putting on banger after banger for the last year.
Make a video about the kevin owens run while being universal championship🔥🔥.. it was awesome
already semi covered it... don’t think it’s noteworthy enough for its own video
Man, this made me miss Dean Ambrose, I remember me and everyone loved him out The Shield trio, everyone wanted him to be the top guy over Roman and Seth, those were the times.
Dude your video saved my 2k23 universe experience I didn't know what to do with the titles. Those titles had to remain split. Unifying them didn't make sense.
The only bad thing about Seth 2015 was getting his finisher curbstomp bad
who doesnt love pedigree?
@@joprincess6021 it looks good in Rollins also but not as original finisher curbstomp
Finally you uploaded...was waiting for a long time bro🤧
hope you enjoy it 🙌
@@SuperkickStudios Banger Video 💥
Enjoyed it
ACL, MCL and meniscus. Logan had that same injury as well. Dam.
1:34 You're right: definitely the last great Mr. Money in the Bank. Which is sad and definitely the reason I think the whole concept should be revamped.
I personally think the MITB concept could benefit from a small change: saying that there's 1 of 2 things inside the briefcase:
1. A World Title Shot
2. $250,000
Imagine the number of storylines this opens because then, Mr. MITB is not subjected to the old familiar storyline but can actually use the briefcase to heighten a personal feud. It would be awesome!
if only we had that match between Roman and Seth at survivor series ‘15. The outcome it could’ve had for that time period
a shield triple threat at the next years mania would’ve been fire
Bro this man had so many versions this one is by far his best version the Architect omg bro I can’t believe it’s already been a year since he turned heel dawg this man had beef with everyone in that locker room and I mean everyone that Kane feud was hilarious and Randy’s as well that is most definitely how you should book a rising heel Wwe superstar
Is this a re-upload or am I tripping? Either way, I SHALL BE SEATED for this Superkick Studios classic
I loved this version
This was the best title reign of the period, you were immersed in the story between the shield and the corporation, between the unhinged lunatic fringe dean Ambrose who spent a year, overcoming hurdles to avenge his fallen stable against a blood-boiling ego maniac, through hell in a cell match that was intervened by the Wyatt's to a lumberjack match, evolving to a point where half the roster (team cena) all got fired after Edge was held hostage by Rollins, PG or not, this was peak WWE storytelling, Rollins has yet, is trying and has attempted to return to that level of grace to this day
I was hoping you'd cover WrestleMania 39 in your next video but this was cool I guess
This was his best title reign ever
good vid deserve more subs
appreciate the kind words
6:39 "I don't think these guys ever missed" TLC 2018 would like to have a word with you
Overall good as he became a star and I remember it clear as day.. but yes they whiffed on so many decisions and booked him to take way too many pin fall losses
agree and agree
Congratulations for 100k
thanks!
The Architect Seth Freakin Rollins ❤🔥
I love the how good series, my favorite was the How Good Was CM Punk's 400 day title reign.
appreciate you supporting the series :)
Awesome
Best vids
loved this Rollins run, authority figures add another layer when done right...hated how Kane took RKOs tho lol
You forget to mention he randomly got beat by Ryback on a Raw when the dude was just a mid carder at that point. Like the weirdest long lasting title reign I've seen.
I was in the second row in Dublin when poor Seth wrecked his knee. You would never have known Seth was injured. The mad man pedigreed Kane onto a chair to finish the match!
still goated in my books IDC😊
I love hes also come to become heavyweight champion title seths rollins in mitb ON past 2015
I hate champions that are booked to look like cowards and always lose. With that being said Seth Rollins did a great job making me hate him while he was WWE World Heavyweight Champion. His best feud was against Dean Ambrose and it's a shame it wasn't until MITB 2016 until Dean Ambrose finally beat Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He's worst feud was against John Cena but that wasn't either of their faults. They had a great match but there was no reason to have a title vs title match, especially since John Cena won the US Championship back at Night of Champions a month later, then the steel cage rematch at a live event.
His fued with sting and demon Kane was awesome in 2015
Would love the architect to return or have a sort of hybrid visionary/architect. By far his best title run which was unfortunately ended due to his injury. It would have been interesting to have seen where it would have went, possibly would have ended at Wrestlemania 32 in a shield main event which would have been 🔥.
agreed seeing a hybrid would be cool, he’s just too beloved RN
Best Seth Rollins ever!
It was pretty good. Silly at times , but the matches pretty much delivered so I cant complain.
The Justin Bieber promo by Kane is legendary what u talking about
2015 was the year i return to see WWE
What's the first song in the background calle
Seth Rollins wwe title reigns was really good good matches, good feuds and great mic work but the problem I had with his reign was he was losing too often, he always depended on the authority to retain his title and he was always running from his opponent I think if he retained his title clean most of the time it would of been a 10/10 title reign but it was still good
My favorite title defense that seth Rollins had was the ladder match she had with Dean Ambrose
This and Mr money in the bank Seth was gold
I just wish his booking was a bit better he lost way too much for my liking
Seth as the corporate champion was a solid run.
Rollins needs another World Title Reign
probably winning it in a few weeks
13:34 seth got a little exited there after winning the us title
hahaha
Suggestion: Sheamus 2010 - 2012 run
Did wwe watch your video bc they just posted that payback fatal four way
So i got back into wrestling for the first time since wrestlemania 28. This run confused me so much. Raw and smackdown he was booked awful but on ppv he was booked like the man it was like two different charcters.
It's so crazy how many people LOVE this reign of Seth Rollins, who relied on heavy help from a stable to retain his title, but also think it's a crime for Roman to have help from his family 😂
Before that injury he was the best in the world imo
I miss that Seth strut to the ring
Cena is very decent with the mic
That's why time to give seth a good face run with new title
This is still my favorite version of seth
After summerslam, cena confronted john stewart'. With ric flair, pretty good promo too
Seth Rollins made me turn from a casual fan to a hardcore wrestling fan
Very, very good. Take it from a Sethaholic🥰
I think this was his best run. This run made him my favorite wrestler.
I'd give it an 8 the matches were great and there were some good promos so the high's of the reign were incredible but the lows were meh not bad but just whatever so I balance it to an 8 for me which is very good.
Again 1 month break between videos... You're killing us man😂😂 @Superkickstudios

1. Roman
2. Cm punk
