Awesome video again Scott and Smash Factory! You hopefully will be cutting all sorts of shorts for your other social media to bring this info to golfers everywhere. Filled with great stuff!

This is awesome stuff…the beauty of parametric acceleration! Question. Where are you finding the delta between his max hand speed and speed at impact so quickly? I don’t see it listed in the data fields…I am able to slide the slider to the impact position and see what my value is, but that takes time…seems like you’re reading it instantly? Or is that fancy editing?

Would it be possible to summarize all of the set up (e.g. ball position, hand position) and swing dynamics (e.g. swing plane angle, swing direction) characteristics and their effect on ball flight that you went over in this series? Thanks!!

Did I hear you say Rory’s and Finau’s swing tempos are closer to 2:1? I’ve read a number of articles where both are almost exactly 3:1 with a 21/7 rhythm…did I mis-read that?

Can we find ideal number for each club anywhere? Watched this, ordered a DeWiz, and really looking forward to getting into this!

I got DeWiz too and wondering about the same information. Either DeWiz or Scott hopefully can provide some averages/ideal numbers for each club. There’s 2 videos which I have been able to really learn from

Is it me or Bally's release was also very different... Judging by his rehearsals he looked like he was doing more a DJ style swing.. How would that affect deWiz's measurements?

Marc’s grip seems quite a bit on the strong side.. May I ask what’s the conscious choice here behind that?

I find more success with it. It allows me to take the face back more square and always feel a fairly passive release. I’d like to weaken it a fraction but find it fairly difficult.

Any tips on how to decelerate faster?

Throw your hands at the ground and push up and back really really hard with your lead foot. The force from the ground will act as a brake as long as your arm structure holds its integrity. Braking is a ground force feel. Hit the inside of your lead foot hard when you're hands get to the point where you're supposed to release, keep the upper body tilting and turning, and as long as you stay connected, your hands will slow down through space

Hi Zane - Marc here. Good question. I would say that it's a good thing to understand when starting - however the feels associated with creating the metrics Scott is asking, would require a fairly advanced understanding of your golf swing. I practice a lot opposite handed and trying to focus on these things can be quite challenging for me, as my club and body awareness is significantly worse.

Very interesting stuff, I wounded if it works on a practice swing or with a plastic practice ball, it would be great to be able to fine tune your hand decel and timing without striking a ball… huge time saver.
