Wow - underrated content! Hope you guys can grow the channel. Also the best Scott Cowx vid online I think. His swing pattern theory has been a game changer for me and it’s amazing to watch him drop knowledge here.

How do indoor settings compensate for the inability to take a divot? Players involved in competition practice very precisely using high end technology like Trackman and divots are part of that. Using a mat doesn’t it throw off their precision?

Great video, looking forward to part two. I'm a bit confused about how the angle of attack and low point is important in differentiating between the swing direction and club path. Is it like what the ball "sees" vrs what the club is doing? Kind of like spin loft?

Great question. When you hit down on something, you are hitting it before the lowest point of the club which would make the overall swing direction more left of the path (if swinging left).Path is what happens directly at impact, swing direction is more of an overall metric. Opposite being true when your low point is behind with driver. Love your example of what the ball sees versus what the club is doing, that’s a good way to simplify this concept. Hopefully that helps clarify a little bit!
