I am so glad I came of age during this period to experience all the creativity in music that occurred. RIP Greg Lake, you had the voice of an angel.
I met Greg Lake at a 7-11 in Tucson, Arizona 1988. He was buying a Buritto. He knew I recognized him and said "hey, the Buritto is the only reason I come here. Get you one it's on me mate". I saw Greg in Milan in 1973, as part of the incredible trio EL&P. What a musician and singer! The compositions of both KC (first two albums) and ELP could not be so deep moving without his voice. One of the best of Rock History to date, plus the bass lines particularly with EL&P so brilliant.

Przepiękna wersja, po tylu latach słuchania odkrywam na nowo, znałem tylko 8,5min.utwory. Cudo!!
Genio grande greg
He wrote this song decades ago and today in America this is all true, The World is in the hands of fools.
His voice!
the best version literally.
I like it more because the instruments sound clearer
I believe this is off the original album.
@@tommiharrell9958 i keep hearing this, the kc started actually posting the album, I dont know what to think... still love this one tho
@@tommiharrell9958 This is actually a MIDI.
I'm so grateful to the musician who re-created King Crimson's music for this version. I think his name is Michael. His video with the music set to "The Book of Eli" footage was fantastic and I wish the copyright holders would allow him to put it up again. I would think it stimulates sales of both the King Crimson album and the movie. The music and movie footage went so well together.
Greg is still alive.
Gods cant die.
MAGIC !! tried to compose something similar (same chord sequence) but have decided to cast the project aside, while listening to this version again, what a voice !! DPESN P Muito Obrigado
This same version was on youtube with a brilliant video put together with clips from The Book Of Eli. It VANISHED... 😢
Spooky and melancholic and beautiful song.

Why is this song perfect for the year 2020?
Just what I was thinking!

His music is timeless. That's one reason.
Song reflects every year I've been alive
Best version.
Je passe cette music tout les ans à mon ami Serge décédé devant sa tombe
Il adorait paix à son âme
I’m still listening and loving his darling voice.❤ 2023 here!!! ❤
Amo demais essa interpretação do Greg Lake.
Fifty two years later and this song is even more relevant. James Keeney
