I met Greg Lake at a 7-11 in Tucson, Arizona 1988. He was buying a Buritto. He knew I recognized him and said "hey, the Buritto is the only reason I come here. Get you one it's on me mate". I did and thanked him. He signed an autograph for me on a piece of paper and I still have it to this day. Great guy..

I first heard King Crimson on Clyde Clifford’s Beaker Street back in 1969. Went out and bought the album the very next day. Here I am in 2024 at 70 years old and still listen to this almost daily. I am so glad I came of age during this period to experience all the creativity in music that occurred. RIP Greg Lake, you had the voice of an angel.

So moving, I'm 64 and feel that my life is moving to its end..
I'm crying as I listen to this music & lyrics.
What a beatiful voice Greg had.
    Today's music doesn't move me .
I wonder how his family is getting on without Greg?
This poem/ song is a classic.
So much wisdom in its lyrics.
King Crimson was a little before I discovered Greg Lake or ELP.
I hope Greg's spirit is at rest or with Keith creating music on a heavenly plane. 🙏 😢❤
I'm broken hearted about his death.
His music has a sense of melancholy about it, which makes it stand our above tge rest!!!!

Greg had such a magical voice that could draw you into the song .
Saw KC once and ELP once and those two shows were flat out magical.
I saw The Beatles live as a kid and Hendrix live as a teenager and those were awesome but KC and ELP and Frank Zappa were on a much higher level.

From the skillful mixing...to the power of Greg’s voice...to the profound lyrics, this version honors all the members of a team of young men who cared about this world. And that concern haunts us...even now. Thanks.

I was thinking the same thing! How beautiful and young they are and how they have the most creative music!! Unbelievable!
I just tapped into ELP (last week) and this group's other work for the first time.
For me, it's like a brand new band to SEE & LISTEN to.
A nice and fantastic choice of what we call music, instead of this disgusting demonic-filled noise that only praises their goat god of today's generation
And it's so sad and strange that 2 of these unbelievable creative people are no longer with us.
It's also greatly appreciated to hear and see videos of them throughout the years. They have grown into fine men with their voices still captivating and intense! That's another comment for another day! Didn't mean to write so much. Words are not enough to describie them and their own individual talent.
God bless them and their families.

Capolavoro immortale dei King Crimson con la voce stupenda di Greg Lake che ora canta nell' aldilà. Una lirica tra le più belle e malinconiche mai scritte. ad ogni riascolto, la stessa sensazione. Immensa!!

Greg Lake was an amazing singer. With such voice, strong and very open expression that makes us wonder that, in fact he's unique and probably was capable to go furter...Anyway Keith and Greg
they 're somewhere else above the clouds...and that makes me very sad. for everything they offer during all those years since the first album I but in 1970 at 16. I can't support other kind of music from actual generations...Im to old to rock in roll but still young to listining almost all those genius from 50's...60's and 70's and I now that makes me feel calm and apreciate with attention great lyrics and the complexity of good masterpieces. I do miss them very much...RIP all of you in hope that we will be together somehow above the galatic clouds somewhere else🙏

I grew up listening to such amazing artists. Made me think alot about life. Such truth portrayed by such young hearts. Even then. They foresaw what this world will become. But, we can always have hope. God is among us. And I believe that Greg realized that in the end.

This is brilliant I bought this album when it came out and not knowing any thing about the band. I seen the cover and was blown away by the artwork so I had to buy it. I have most of their albums. Brilliant band songs and lyrics are amazing. All the musos are top guys. Absolutely spellbinding. Can't fault the talent on these albums.

Greg Lake had such a one of a kind majestic and angelic voice. And this song with it's amazing lyrics...........truly spellbinding and thought provoking. Greg Lake and Pete Sinfield made such great a team, and the 1969 King Crimson was truly lightning in a bottle, a once in a lifetime event.

I'm so grateful to the musician who re-created King Crimson's music for this version. I think his name is Michael. His video with the music set to "The Book of Eli" footage was fantastic and I wish the copyright holders would allow him to put it up again. I would think it stimulates sales of both the King Crimson album and the movie. The music and movie footage went so well together.
