Since when do you seal off a valley? You are creating maintenance to the roof. Best to remove tiles, lift battens, redo plastic/sisalation lining and valley plates! This system WILL fail within 5 years!

Good day AQW. Thank you for your interest in our waterproofing solutions. The solution you have suggested will also work but we are not a roofing company, installing new roofs. The request from the client was to waterproof the roof and although our StretchSeal system has evolved from this video the concept of sealing a leaking valley with fibre cement, strengthening it with a membrane and waterproofing it with HydroSeal HF has stayed the same. The client is happy and the roof is leak FREE. Regarding maintenance, Yes there is a component of aftercare but if UV maintained every 4 to 5 years the system would last a long time.
