- In this video, I continue on with my Recasting series, this time talking about who I would have cast for Survivor: Cambodia. Now though this video, I decided to also talk about who I actually did vote for during the public vote to decide the cast.

I'm not doubting it, while PG had a bad showing in Cambodia, PG was one of the bigger female characters on the ballot and had an amazing run and fan base from survivor China!
Video idea: doing a recasting video but you can’t use anyone who was on the real cast (example you can’t use Russell Hantz for Heroes vs Villains)
That would be cool, but I feel like most of the iconic players were on the cast (and Candice).

You're not alone about Alexis. I also wanted her in Cambodia. I imagine she'll be in team with Wenthworth maybe even part of the "coven alliance".
I respect the decisions you made here. It sucks that Varner screwed up, but you can’t deny he was a fan favorite. Lots of people would just ignore him for what he did but I’m glad you did this from the point of view of when this came out.
My dream cast would have been pretty similar, with just a few changes (Sean Rector over Jim Rice, Greg Buis over Jeff Varner, Twila Tanner over Alexis Maxwell, Deena Bennett over Neleh Dennis, Carolyn Rivera over Shirin Oskoii, and Kieth Nale over Vytas Baskauskas)
The final 5 had 3 from Hunupu and 2 from brains in Cambodia
In terms of the dream cast I would switch out:
Stephanie and Alexis for Jaime Dugan and Christa Hastie, since the latter two are two of my biggest survivor crushes. I think that I would have also preferred Crystal Cox over Tasha
I would have also picked Ace Gordon, Sash, and Reynold Toepfer over Vytas, Marty, and Varner
How would you feel about a three tribe "Battle of the Brains" season, with Spencer, Kass and Tasha each leading five newbies?
I would love to see a recast of Ghost Island as Fans Vs Favs
Is it because the previous 2 seasons ending in 6 were Fans vs. Favs?

I think he meant the fact about how Jeff kept talking how that season is going to have the most satisfying ending and likeable winner, and at the early merge it was cear that Mike can be the only one called likeable winner.

B S though i mean from what the edit showed us he had great powers of persuasion, like Ciera gets all the credit for that flip at the final 6 but Hayden deserves some too
I would love to see a recasting Ghost Island as Fans vs. Favorites! Here’s my cast if I was doing it with the same rules as the other fans v faves (people who only played once after season 26 who didn’t win).

It’s hard to pick people who only played once between 26 and 35, most of the good players went on second chance or game changers

@@paintbrush3753 That's a choice for sure...I would've picked Chelsea over her (yeah, I know Chelsea was practically invisible, but according to post season interviews, she was more instrumental in the game as a whole than what we were shown). Also James over Chris? That's equally as questionable, because that Chris vs Dom rivalry was one of the best parts of the pre merge and merge

Honestly the cast for Second Chance I was happy the only person I was annoyed didn't get on was T-Bird really for vote. Kinda annoyed they didn't have Sean Rector in running.

It’s said that Shane most likely lost because he fans really don’t care to vote unlike moms who love Peigh Gee or Green people or love Jeremy like Jeff’s mom
Also, someone who I'm surprised was never brought back or put on the ballot was Matty whitmore of Gabon fame, losing a final 4 fire making challenge to bob of all people (and that being the ONLY reason he lost the game) was a very rough way to go out, I would replace him with Joe on Cambodia since production loves their white boys

So I had an idea for a season you could cast if interested.
Survivor: forgotten seasons
A cast full of players that are chosen from seasons that have never had a returnee (or only 1 or 2 (eg. Guatemala Thailand).
Like I know production doesn’t bring people back from these seasons for reasons. But.
There are a few great options from Marquesas. 3 of them are on my game changers recast for actual game changers not named kathy and ROB.

Joe is a worse version of Ozzy. Carolyn Rivera was completely robbed in Worlds Apart and i think the people didnt vote for her thinking she would win.
My bold pick is Kenny Hoang! Kenny made absurd moves in Gabon. He got cocky and lost the game but its shocking that he hasnt returned
