I've seen a handful of videos showing that the AirPods Pro slip out and some solutions to that, but have any of you just not been able to get a good full seal no matter what you do? Something to think about if you have big or weird shaped ear canals and are thinking about purchasing the airpods pro.

The old AirPods fit so much better for me
Never though I'd be jealous of my friends ears... It fit perfectly for her and kept falling out of mine ESPECIALLY when I ran.

If you run then do what I do put the left earphone in your right ear and vise versa put turn them 180 degrees and they won’t fallout.all runners do that you’re welcome

They don't fit me either. It's like this, if you know what it's like to have your pants slowly fall, then you pull them up, then they slowly fall again.... that's what it's like. They slowly fall out, I push them back in, etc. ANNOYING!

David Sobrito You can try cleaning you ears and clean you AirPods with alcohol pads. And you can also try twisting it into your face if you can’t

I’m a bit in the same boat. It really sucks because I love the spatial sound and how easily they switch between apple devices. I hope the next gen is better fitting.
i had the exact same issue as u, bothered me so much that I used my airpod 1s instead but now I have powerbeats pro and no issues so far I recommend u get those instead
i got my pair a week ago, and ever since they constantly are falling out while im just... moving and walking around. if im on a call with my friends i got so fed up with trying to adjust them (me talking seems to push them out more). i am the opposite problem, my ears are so small the silicone wont fit and it just pushes itself out of my ear after a while smh!!! i feel like most other earbuds come with a much larger range of tips!! i've never had this problem with any other earbud

Hi there, Thanks for the vid… my issue is a bit like yours. Except, mine used to fit well. But I wanted to try those memory tips. I was able to use the, for a while but since a couple of days now, my left ear fits good but my right one stopped working. I can’t get it to work. I don’t get the seal. I tried everything I could think of, I even tried switching the tip of the ear that works but nothing. Really frustrating.

i have the same problem, not with the airpods pro as i only have 2nd gen but, with wired with silicone ear piece never fits my ear, it keeps falling out.
My problem is my ear hurts. I get the seal but it hurts.

Jaybird X3 with large tips were the last great fitting in-ear headset I've had. They had the little shark fin to stabilize in there and it was great no matter what kind of workout. A little uncomfortable to wear for hours on a plane or something but great for everything else. However, everything else either hurts my ears or doesn't fit well enough for working out. Nothing worse than doing a set of squats in the gym and your earbud LITERALLY squeezing out straight to the ground, happens all the time.
so is your ear canal too big or too small for the airpods pro?
Have same issue. I use shure iems for pleasure and Sony headphones for work. I bought the AirPods Pro’s hoping they would be a good fit and they weren’t. I need inears with a smaller nozzle and silicone flanged ear tips. But alas I’ll wait and see what happens with the less expensive AirPod Max’s coming out in April 2021
Have you tried wiping your ear with alcohol and also the airpods(wipe them gently)? Cause for me my ears are oily so it slip too just like yours.
The small ear tips are still wayy too big for my ears!! I've never had a pair of earphones with those tips ever fit in my ears.. sadly have to send them back 😕
I have the same problem. I fail all ear seal tests no matter how hard I have studied for them. AirPods Pro tend to fall out of my ears. By contrast, the second generation AirPods fit me perfectly and never fall out.
Oneplus buds Z will fit perfectly with silicon tips , but the pros have worse complete shit .
Has me fearful of ordering the new Pro 2's. I had to return my Pros.

Good video and we share the same problem with AirPods Pro. I feel like I’m my case the “neck” or the shaft that the ear tips connect to need to be a bit longer to get a better fit. They just don’t go in far enough in my ear and can’t seal or grab the ear hole properly. Tried other tips also but no real solution. Sticking with my Jabra Elite Active 75t for now.
I have the same problem. I obviously have large ear canals and the original Airpods don't fit. I hoped with the large silicone seals that the Pros would fit but no. Left kinda seals but the right not, even with all the ear pulling I can't get a good fit. I have an old pair of wired UE (Ultimate Ears) in ear phones which fit well and I noticed that their large tip is bigger than Apple's. This and your experience make me feel that it will be useless to get foam ear tips - they are not bigger! Frustrating.

I’ve never been able to use earbuds generally, got the air pods pro as a gift and wanted to cry because I knew they wouldn’t be comfortable and stay in.The only thing that worked for me were the comply foam tips. Highly recommend them try the the multi size pack and see which fits best.

I’ve been using the Sony WF-1000XM3s for the past six months, the ANC is great but can’t really compete with the level of ANC dedicated headphones give. One gripe I have with the Sony’s is the lack of any type of water resistance, so can’t work out with them, plus I’m not confident enough with the hold to the ear to go for a jog.

Jeremy Kruis there was a break in period for me. Like the first week or so of use, but after that my ears have a great seal.
I have a very small ear canal the airpods pro keeps falling out especially when i smile or doing workouts :(

It's possible but they will fall out of your ears and you not get a seal so the ANC will not work and the sound will be horrible. In other words, it makes no sense to do it.
Its kinda the same for me but its on only my left ear and it feels horrible
I’m returning my pros today. I’ve had them a week exactly today. They hurt so much to put in my ears that I cringe and I consider myself to have a decent pain tolerance. My ears are too waxy and they just slip out if I smile or eat. I hate it. I’m maybe getting the 3rd gen today

Same here I’m so pissed I ordered a pair from tmobile one didn’t work so I had to send them back. I finally bought a pair from Costco and they don’t fit I even ordered $27.99 foam tips from Amazon 😢 apple needs to do better!

The ear fitting test says there’s a good seal in my canal when wearing the largest tips but they still feel loose… I constantly have to push them in even though they never fall out

Hm mine are too large on the smallest and dig into the upper area, I’m 16. Maybe it’s to do with age and facial development, aimed at ~20 year olds
Exactly the same for me. Was a huge fan of classic AirPods and the pro would have been the pinnacle of the product. But none of the tips fit, even with mandarine foam tips customisation. Can’t get the good quality sound, plus I felt the noise cancelling exacerbated some tinnitus which headphone don’t do.

same problem. glad i kept my bose qc25's. No bluetooth BS just 1 battery that lasts very long and a long cord, anc and sound is very good
Just got my AirPods delivered an hour ago and they don't fit either!! The silicon pad doesn't reach far enough into my ear...so trying to return and by the Sony wf-xm3's
before you buy (i just bought) if you have medium/small ears dont get them unless youre fine with them being a tad loose. mine are small and its hard for them to either fit (for big eartips) or keep them in (for medium/small) if you dont need noise cancellation i recommend getting normal airpods
I have the same problem and I’m going to try the Beats Studio Pro+ to see if they will more easily fix the problem.
I think my issue is actually a depth problem. If I push my AirPods Pro into my ear I can sometimes hear what I’m supposed to hear like others do. I did the ear tip test on my wife and the worked perfectly.
Because of the proprietary ear tip connection, there are limited options for Apple users, however Beats use the more standard nub type connection so there are more tip options. I need to find some nice tips that will seal for me.
By the way, I think the stems also prevent my AirPods from going in deep enough.
I have the same issue, the only other thing I could say is go for AirPod max the news over ear apple headphones.
Mine hurt my ears. I wonder if the Beats Fit Pro would be any better.
I use Powerbeats Pro... Have you tried those? I use them everyday. Charging case is larger than airpods though. Still fits in pocket and takes up very little space in a bag. Next, I'd buy the Sony for sure!

I have both and as a women the Powerbeats case doesn’t fit in my pockets lol or my small bags so I only use mine for the gym
I have both too and to be honest the case is too big if you are going light with a Fanny pack or cross body bag. I also have an issue with the right one not charging, you have to always make sure it’s pushed down and contacting to charge and sometimes you forget and you have one bud not charged.
Powerbeats Pro does not have noise cancellation. Jeremy specifically wanted that for bus rides/plane rides. They are slo bulkier and less convenient to carry.
Beats Fit Pro is the best it has a small case

Sounds stupid, but idk if my ears are too greasy or what but my left ear bud slips out so easy getting memory foam tomorrow but I think I’m gonna have to send them back.
My ears are too small.. i just got some and they say i have a good seal but after not even 5 seconds they fall out. that’s with the smallest tips. i even tried the other tips for the hell of it. still didn’t stay. i’m so upset.

i just got these and these are my first pair of airpods ever . but the left one hurts my ear after just putting it in for a sec 💔😣 and idk what to do . it stays in but it just hurts. i tried all the ear tips . the right one fits comfortably thou so that’s a good thing

I received my air pod pro 2 for a gift and I was so happy and couldn’t wait to try them. I have kidney dialysis quite frequently and it’s so loud laying there for hours having to listen to all of the annoying racket. But to my disappointment I have the same issues as you do and I have also tried other after market brands. I still use them but one fits decent and my right one is like leaving a window open on a cold day. I only get about half of what air pod pro 2’s were designed for and I can’t return them sense it’s been to long. One would think Apple would have thought of us customers with large ear pots and have done something about it by now. Thanks

Bro! I have the same problem as you do. I’ve tried every tip size but none of them fits, and it fell out of my ears a lot. Luckily, Apple allow return with 14 days of purchase.

My AirPod 1 and 2’s were perfect. I could run for hours with no issues. My AirPod Pro 2’s are terrible. I am almost thinking of scuffing them up with rough sandpaper to give them more grip.
I also have struggle with in ears fitting me well. Likewise my airpods DON'T fit well which sucks...

same problem, BUT I found a simple solution which works for me. I have very narrow ear canals. I know this, because I have ear impressions being made many times, because I use molded in-ears professionally for over 25 years. The AirPods Pro are like generic in-ears with silicon-buds and that never really works for me, because regardless of the bud-size they always fall out.
However, after having the same frustrating experience with the Airpod Pros; I tried some weird approach: I put them into the ear upside down, so that the thin handle actually points upwards and VOILA !! It works. They fit tight, they seal pretty well and eventually, after a while (when the silcon buds have warmed up) I can actually turn the phones in the ear downwards and then miraculously they sit quite well (that just if you feel embarrassed in public, because people might think you are an idiot wearing the phones upside down 😂)

I got the same issue but they appeared to be good seal once I was testing at the store, but after few day, they never fit me anymore. I have changed whole pair from store twice as I thought this happened by deflection. Unfortunately, I have to go there for third time as it is happening again :(

Try to close your nostrils like when you compensate inner ears pressure and take a deep inhale from the nose. Then redo the fitting test.

Left ear. Fits great. Right ear hurts like hell!!! Like Pain.. and its not the tip. Its the body of the Airpod itself. Going to try Beats Pro next. If that doesnt work its going to be over ear headphones.

The airpods pro 2 does fits in my ear but it's way to uncomfortable and it leads to ear fatigue . Previously I used a pair galaxy buds 2 and they were comfortable af . Really disappointed man . If I knew that this is gonna happen then I wouldn't have spend such ridiculous amount of money on the airpods pros .

my ears are too small. I can't use the regular pods because my ears are way too small, I've tried everything, they are uncomfortable. I bought the pros because I was like" hmmm they come with 3 different sizes!" They would pop out of my ear even if I'm doing nothing. I gave them toms husband a week later and we was extremely happy.

The original AirPods fit perfectly - all the new ones fall out… and my ear canal is so small even the smallest tips don’t fit, it’s why I generally go for over ear headphones, but not at AirPod max price!
