- I replaced the Pirelli Angel ST's on the Griso with Pirelli GT's. Are they a better tyre? Do they last longer and justify the price?

Thanks for the review bud. Been looking at this for a while now!
Hope it was helpful.
Thankyou for you're review, I'm looking at the pirelli gt version, so I'm just getting as much info as I can so I really appreciate the video. Thanks again, Paul
No worries. Hope it helped. Did you end up getting a set of GT's?
@RoadsOfOz yes getting them fitted today, and new chain and sprockets with new clutch jet , so he said he would put new fuild in clutch and brakes. Happy days.
I've been using th GTs on the Devil for years Matt, can't go wrong 👌
They go very well on the Triple. I used them when I had mine too.
Digging the face carpet😅. My bike is shod with Michelin Road 6, I really like them, they replaced the Pilot Road 4's . Pirrelli has always Meade a good tyre. I remember a mate of my flat spotted a brand new rear Pirrelli Phantom when his chain snapped and locked up the wheel of his Hailwood Replica mille. This eas in Tassie in the later 80's. Good comparison, Matt. Cheers
Thanks mate. Currently have the road 6's on the Griso. Been very happy with them.
Great review Matt. Pirellis work very well also on cars.
Never had them on cars. But they work well on bikes so it doesn't suprise me that they are just as good on cars too.
@@RoadsOfOz Exactly Matt. :)
I inspected a DL650 today with Pirelli Angel GT and I didn't know them. I was a bit suspicious, but it seems that with tyres Iike that, I should be glad, glad, glad. Thanks mate!
No worries. The GT's will do a great job on the DL650. Just check the manufacture date on the tyre (four digits) First two are the week it was made. last two are the year. So 0321 would translate to 3rd week of the year of 2021. Hope this helps.
That's quite a price difference in the three levels. Pirellis have never let me down and have always been a great option. Your Ducati looks amazing.
Thanks Eric. I love that little bike.
Nice one Matt, I’m a little out to sea when it comes to tyres…
Cheers 😎
We are spoiled for choice.
The beard is looking awesome Matty. Very distinguished
Thanks mate. Been told it has to go soon though.
Great info Matt. I had pilot road 4s on my R1200R when I had it, loved those tyres. Have got Sports Demons on the Laverda. Might need to try the GT’s or is it ST’s, or maybe it was the GT’s that are now ST’s. Either way, loving the beard.
They sure make it confusing with all their tyres.
I have been told that the beard has to go.
@@RoadsOfOz 😂😂🤣
I have a gsxr 600 2012...and believe me on the road and everyday use and for my riding style (RIDING SAFELY AND BRING MYSELF AND MY BIKE TO HOME AND TO MY FAMILY) i dont notice any difference shifting from bridgestone s22 to pirelli angel st...because the bike is excellent on its own and it exceeds my own capability...and nomatter what brand of tyre i put on it there is a little or no difference at all for my riding style and everyday use...trackday or riding aggressively the bike SURELY makes a huge difference from s22 to angel st...but we dont want to hurt ourselves and our love ones riding over the speed limits or our own capabilties and risking our lives...so riding SAFELY on street is the best option and not really the bike or the brand or the type of tyre we are using....ride safely on streets/roads safely and thank you
I love the GT's but I haven't tried the ST's. Brand new set on my now basically written off bike. :(
Very sad to hear mate.
Well explained
Thank you.
That Ducati is one beautiful looking motorcycle
Thanks for that. It is a fun little bike.
I changed my tire to angel gt on my z9. Now already 1000km. Looking forward to see how this tire last ☺️
Let us know how they hold up.
Love the facial hair! Really suits you! Great break down of the brands and definitely food for thought x
Thanks Rochelle. Wife told me, beard can stay temporarily.
@@RoadsOfOz 😂😂😂😂 happy wife….
Love the beard mate.
Thanks. Never grown a beard before. Been told it has to go.
@@RoadsOfOz your face. Keep it. You look more masculine.
I only just put the angle GTs on my hike. I love them!
They are a very good tyre. What bike are you riding?
@@RoadsOfOz I daily the bike in my profile pic a 2009 SFV650!
Ángel GT are extrémely heavy weight Íd only recomend for a very heavy bike. And so stiff they Donat Leto suspensión Work correcto y
What`s about the Angel ST? Looking for new tires for a FZS 1000 which should last long and are reliable in curves.
@@JankoBerlakovic1984 sorry no experience on st, but probabil same weight and stifmess. Id try continental contiroad
@@alvaromateosfernandez-maqu5772 Thank you for your quick response, now i have Michelin Road 5, which are quite good, but also quite expensive. So i thought probably i try another tire.
