My main issue with teaching spy is that this is not a good way to practice stabs. Sure, you can practice decloak illusions and aiming, but stabbing is a completely unique art form. It comes with practice from real players to get experience or intuition, or it takes time and practice to become quick enough to notice player patterns in their movement and how they react to certain situations/prop usage. I've tried teaching though calls and by taking people to empty servers to practice. I've seen the best results when they play on their own, after I tell them about stabbing theory first ofc. Happy Spy, the owner of Spy Academy who hosts tr_spy, is subbed to me, but I think that he should know that his method of teaching spy is a bit flawed.
