That chrome looks nice with your wheels and bumpers! I like the lengthier more detailed videos. I have a Lariat so I have the color matched turn signal mirrors, but I didn't like the look of the housing. I ordered black because I've seen our tenth gen with them and they look good too. What I've opted to do is modify the mirror housing by adding F250 SD smoked turn signal housings to these and wire it myself. I haven't started the project because I want to add cameras to each mirror (I have a 4ch DVR but the cams are way too big.) Like you, I got a good deal on my mirrors because the peg was broken on one, there was a black dot (tiny blemish) under the surface of one, and the other was missing it's new mounting nuts. I bought them on eBay so I was able to negotiate a refund to $60 total so I'm not as apprehensive about modifying them. Unlike yours, these mirrors don't seem like they will shake at all. That's another reason I was upgrading. My stock side mirrors shake too much. I really don't think you'll be happy with the shaking, but at least you know the CHROME LOOKS GREAT if you replace them. BTW - Applying spray silicone down the window tracks could shave down your time 😀

Could of got the ones with the integrated turn signal your truck should be prewired for turn signals My 98 super cab is And I went online and bought this little thing called blinker genie 2 and that will allow the integrated turn signal to be used for two functions. Turn signal/running light
@@DrivingIntelligence i haven’t personally experienced any internal leaking my mirrors are the plain black version not the chrome ones Idk why they discontinued the ones I have.. I’m going to get the ones off boost auto parts and swap the bases off my old one so I can reuse them for the new ones If your on Facebook there’s a page called (10th gen f150s) you should definitely follow the page there’s a lot of info on there for these trucks and pretty sure you could potentially get more subscribers

Very cool... I will look into that. I was interested in the blinker version, but I read the reviews and many have problems with leaks.

Reason for that being the 2015 mirrors is different then the 2007-2013 mirror like the whole shell so they make it to fit older Silverados and the old Silverado style mirror is the same as the ones I have only thing I’m doing is unbolting the Silverado base and installing my base off my old mirrors
