Sis I did a new trick with the band I attached an actual elastic band the skinny ones and crocheted band into the waist band best hack ever no draw string needed. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Thanks , best, best way to add waistband. Other do a lot of decreasing and it just is a huge guess. If you do it your way you measure the size and make the pants fit the waistband. I am going to try finding 4 points side to side, front and back and decrease at those points. But lazy me drawstring would work without hassle of figuring out decreases.
Maybe connect the waist band to the pants with stitch markers at front, back and each side. Then you will know how much will need to be decreased in sections

I made these to fit a 32x34 men’s pants..i’m a size 10-11 womans and they fit me just a little baggy..i’m short so I would have to take 1-2 granny squares off the length
