    Some of the repetitive talking definitely could've been editied out. I'm invested in seeing the finished product because I searched granny square pants. Not for a beginner rather to see the variation.

    What if my waist measurements come out to 5 squares and my hip measurements come out to 8 squares ? How do I go about stitching those together

      did you ever get a reply to this? im in the same boat with the pants im making. 7 squares for waist and 5 each for legs

    • @margheritapaolini1652
      @margheritapaolini1652 3 месяца назад +1

      I think it depends on distance between the waist and the hips and how many granny squares it needs lengthwise, if you have room for one more row maybe you could increase with 6 or seven, otherwise you could switch the waistband for something stretchy (like a ribbed edge?) in the same dominant colour

    • @OgechiEleodiChebem
      @OgechiEleodiChebem 2 месяца назад

      You can begin from the hip to attach the squares and rather than using the 5 squares at the waist,you can use a double crochet stitch or granny stitch. So basically your granny squares can begin from your waist.

    • @julypatchouli9719
      @julypatchouli9719 2 месяца назад

      Maybe you can use a smaller or bigger hook and yarn to create smaller or bigger squares. Then maybe you can finagle it, so that you need an even amount of squares to fit in the legs and hips?

    Hi! Not sure if you’ll ever see this or not, I followed your crochet pattern for granny square pants, and even measured everything on my husband. But for some reason, I just can’t figure out how to assemble these pants. Everything is so uneven, I’m not sure what to do. 😩

    Just cant get over of how pretty you are)
    But my question is: do you have plans of making grannysquare jacket?
    My mom want such jacket, but I cant get together my knowlege of crocheting with squares, even though I made numbers of blankets, pillows and such
    Just cant put my mind into how to make clothes out of it

    If you’re doing the chain 4 instead of MR, do you chain 2 before starting the double crochet in the magic ring or do you only do the chain 2 you displayed in the video (after doing the first two DC)?

    • @HannahDrapinski
      @HannahDrapinski  7 месяцев назад

      the chain four is just like doing the magic circle, so you would join to make a ring, and then continue on with the steps in the video (after i made my magic circle)

      @smilenationbellediy5519 4 месяца назад

      @@gingerft.honeybees4097 yea the sewing comes undone. I think it might be due to the fact that my thigh area is sewed a bit tight, but the pants are totally together and end are weaved in so im not sure how to go about fixing it

    I started mine last week, 6 squares in and I am already bored of it T-T

    • @Pixxelina
      @Pixxelina 7 месяцев назад

      Girl same!! But I persevered. I made the daisy squares instead and found that if I made each part at a time for each square, it went a lot faster and less boring. I made the MR first, all of them. Then made the round of petals on all of them, and so on. Oh, and I also worked over my ends as I went so I don’t have to weave them in at the end.

    • @IamTulip
      @IamTulip 7 месяцев назад +1

      @Pixxelina I currently have 20 Squares without the ends weaved in. I think I should start weaving them now :") making each color at a time seems like a good idea!
