Gotta love the U.S for still building monsters like these 💪
I absolutely do! 🇺🇸🔥
These are becoming more popular in Australia and I’m seeing more on our roads everyday, but they’re so expensive and hopefully they become more affordable here in Australia one day
Thanks for the review Ross! 👍
I totally agree! And I hope so too as we are getting some good cars from there finally but just completely priced out of the market
Same down here in NZ, and I love it! Just in my area I've noticed about a dozen Silverado's, and as many, if not more Ram's. I can't stop looking at them. I was even lucky enough to see a Ram TRX in person the other day. Awesome looking rig for sure!
@@dallasfrost1996 Yup heaps in Hamilton at the moment. Big beasts they are.
@@Lxzandr Yeah, I'm located all the way up in Whangarei. Which really surprises me to just how many of them are up here. American trucks are everywhere in this general area for some reason. I don't mind it at all though, it's a nice sight for a change, compared to the norm.
@@dallasfrost1996 yeah definitely a nice change of scenery especially since we have the 4guys car yard here. They are well known for importing alot of the American sports cars into NZ. 👍
Congrats on scoring this mate. WOW looking forward to watching. Didn't know any of these were in Aus! This would definitely be part of my dream garage
Oh mate, after watching ... WOW, love you're enthusiasm. My type of guy! Nah, for me this over Raptor any day. 4.4sec is crazy!
Hope you enjoy it! 100% apart of my dream garage
One of my favourite reviews you've done! Always loved the American way of doing these vehicles; would LOVE to have one of these!
Thanks mate I really enjoyed this one ☝️
Anyone got a spare half mil I swear I'll pay it back 👍🇦🇺🍻
I’ve got couple of motels on park Lane & Mayfair I could mortgage on my next turn on the monopoly board 😂
If that helps 😂
🤣🙏 pleasssseee then let’s not forget about the fuel bill 💀
@@RossReviewsau 30 gallons of premium (33 gallon tank) isn't a big hit. The F350/F450 with the 8' bed has a 48 gallon tank.
Ram's and Chevy Silverado's are becoming quite popular down here in New Zealand too. I can't help but smile everytime I see one. Love the way they look! Just the other week I was lucky enough to see the Ram TRX in person for the first time, damn does it look badass! These TRX's are starting somewhere around $250k NZD, that's expensive.
Barely afford petrol groceries and buy a house here let alone this beast 🤤
Great video.
For the last few months, I've been seeing a lot more the U.S. trucks on the roads around Perth!
I have also! Lots of people obviously have the coin and are keen for them! Great for towing
Mr Ross!!! This video was awesome 👏 🎉 good stuff man ❤
Glad you enjoyed it brother! You gotta get down to Perth soon 😈
Great review Jonathan.
That thing is a Beast !
Good on Dodge / Ram, Ateco & Walkinshaw for making this happen.
The remanufacture done by Walkinshaw is top class.
Walkinshaw have recently increased their production capacity in Melbourne.
A lot more great stuff to come from Walkinshaw.
If they can get decent supply, I think Walkinshaw expect to sell 10,000 Rams next year, plus Silverado, and they are now doing
R & D on Tundra with Toyota.
Expecting Tundra to go on sale late 2023, or early 2024.
👍
I’m very glad they are still in operations wish it was for HSV but I’m very thankful they are atleast trying to bring some of the cool muscle cars from America here .. we want the challenger!!
Noice review Ross Reviews’ I love ❤️ it. I’m reviewing one early next year.
To Ross Reviews
From Jordan’s car reviews
Awesome jordan!
The Ford F150 Raptor R is the direct competitor to the TRX. A little over 700hp out of a 5.2 SC V8 👍
Yup it’s a shame we don’t have that one tho.. n I would be surprised if we ever do get it.. the Ranger Raptor is to popular
The Raptor R is a lot more expensive though.
20L/100Kms on a good day, farout you need to be loaded just to pay the fuel bill. People complained about the Barras economy
My cammed VY uses 24l per 100
That's the same as a "tuned" 800hp FGX XR8
@@AndrewMitchell001 how is that even possible? Is it on e85?
@@vxsr33 Naa U98 pretty big cam and I have a pretty heavy foot it also has a 3200 stall and 3.7 diff gears which dont help with economy
In my opinion, for what you get, it's not that bad.
Greatest car review of all time! Keep up the amazing stellar work champion. There needs to be more of you out there!
Much appreciated!
@@RossReviewsau loved your authenticity and honesty, and not worrying about being politically correct! You had me laughing hysterically also.
This beast has a big brother.... dodge ram hennessey mammoth 1000. And by the name, 1000hp
They’re beasts those mammoths. They’re built by kpm Motorsport in ADELAIDE for Hennesey performance US
@@reeceeyles9924 The sound shakes the ground! Hoo yeah!
Oh man the mammoth is insane!!! 1000hp
This is my newest favorite car review channel. "Holy s**t. America! F**k yeah!". LOL love it
🤣🙏 glad you enjoyed it
Ha haa I nearly threw my phone the way you and me are excited 😅😅
How good are these TRX trucks eh
They are an absolute beast. It’s a shame 99% of us won’t ever be able to afford owning one.
Ikr 😞
Great video mate!! My dad told me that you got it from his work and he said I would love it
I love it!
Thank you….. Have been waiting for TRX Australian review and you doing it was great to watch.
Looking forward to a Ford F-150 Raptor review in a year or so🤫
Thanks mate! Let’s hope that can be done
Maybe the Raptor R will make it to AUS.
You literally made me laugh out loud. Great review. Cheers mate
Glad you enjoyed it
Imagine you did another tune and upgraded the supercharger that would be a supertruck that could outpace supercars insane. Thanks Ross for this. Wonder what those F150 or F250 raptors could do
Would be insane! She’s got more to give
@Ross Reviews those hellcat engines are something else hey
i got to sit in one it its awsome
👌 how big are they
My favourite, 4×4 by far. If I had the money, first thing I'm buying
agreed 👍
Hi mate it’s always amazing watching your videos thank you for your wonderful .
Glad you like them!
these are too big for UK roads, BUT in general, i cant understand WHY they DONT bring more American vehicles over to the UK, especially when there are already RHD markets like Australia or Japan that have such cars available to them IN RHD format! all they need do is basically swap out the Australian/Japanese instrument cluster which uses Km for an American spec one that uses Miles for the UK, reprogramme fuel computers to use the UKs bigger gallon to get more accurate MPG figures on the display, job done! although they do have downsides, such a price (UK tax on cars is ridiculous, for example) and in many cases, no manual or diesel offerings, and increasingly no electric options (since we are being FORCED into EVs here, which is unnecessary IF EVs are as good as claimed, which we know theyre NOT already, but government will carry on pushing regardless) which all means its a shame as there are some vehicles that would probably sell really well here.
Because these trucks are built for the North American market they have to be able to support miles and kilometers. I don't know if you can select "Canadian/160 oz gallon", when running miles. Ford has an electric option with the Lightning and Ram just introduced one.
While we don't really have diesels in the smaller trucks, we do have them once you get above class 2a (full size - same class as in the video). Class 2b and class 3 (classified as large pickups) are offered with diesels just above 400 CID (GM 6.6L, Ford and Ram 6.7L), but they all make too much torque for any manual transmission that would fit. Ram was the last to offer a manual, but had to drop it when they got above 800 lb ft/1,100 nm. Both Ram and Ford have standard diesels that make over 1,000 lb ft and high output diesels that make even more.
Bro mark I was watching the new video when you said in your new video to watch this and I legit searched up mark reviews ram trx 😭😭
Hope you enjoyed it!
what a truck.the whine of the super charger is intoxicating.
It’s amazing 🥵
Great review but it's a crazily unnecessary car... I bet a modified LS or Barra uses less fuel, you'll probably need an entire oil refinery to keep this thing on the road 🤣🤣🤣
Also, you were going a bit crazy @2:19 with your rant 😂
GOOD GOD THATS A BEAST!
So mean
Loved the dodge brand from many many years ago, and this this ram is just a beast mate.
Waaoowww! 🇳🇿🤜🤛🇦🇺
Love these trucks! Absolutely beautiful 😍
Great review just loved the enthusiasm in your review.
Thanks so much!
You got very excited jono 😂😂😂😂😂 love it
Something about a supercharged V8 😉🤣
@@RossReviewsau 100% 🤪🤪🤪
So 2.8 tonnes, 2 piston brakes (1 piston rear), and off-road tyres. Don’t have one of these behind you on the highway.
Great review, I am looking to buy one of these in Europe, where I live in Belgium. I saw prices around 60k/70k incl tax, makes me wonder why it is 200k in Australia xD
right hand steering conversion and import taxes as well as luxury car taxes
Unfortunately due to the conversion to RHD and Australian greed (taxes) this should be a 80k vehicle but now here it’s 200k aud $ 🥲
It's even worse in NZ, can be as much as $250k...
200 k in oz in your dreams
They start at $85k here in the US. That is a very good price in Belgium.
👍🏼👍🏼 good vid
Cheers
Mate you're a top reviewer of some beauty's. Keep it up matey
Much appreciated!
some one say freedom!!!🦅🦅🦅🦅
😈🇺🇸
TRX’s are no joke man, this is coming from an American 😂 Mopar has really gone bonkers with their cars, Hellcat, TRX, Redeye, Demon, Demon 170, Scat Pack, you name it lol
My fav Mopar you plssss NEED to review is the Sublime Green 2023 Swinger Challenger last call and Charger King Daytona, and Demon 170 lol
I just found a hell cat challenger.. review is coming soon
Ross what's involved in shipping/getting a Dodge Ram over here to IRELAND, in Right-hand-drive, i appreciate the ''conversion over to righthand add somewhere in the $30k mark on top of the original list price, but my concern is ''what other concerns should One have to deal with, Enjoy your motor reviews keep the ''loud-pedal'' to the floor, Liam in IRELAND
Honestly Mate it should be right to go for you! i'm not sure about your import laws, these are done in KPH also (not sure if ireland is KPH or MPH) they are expensive but my god they are special!
@@RossReviewsau They’re in KPH because we get the trucks that were built for Canada. Also I’m on my second RAM here in Brisbane I had a 4th Gen now have a 5th Gen. RAMs are so easy to drive and park in the city once you get used to them.
You know that the TRX is 88 inches wide without taking mirrors into account right?
4.4 sec! Thats so beast! But pretty expensive in australia.
It’s expensive but man it’s impressive
2023's aren't produced or delivered yet... as of this comment writing. For one, 2023's will have an all-digital gauge cluster.
Nice 👀‼️ What do you think of it compared to a Jeep Trackhawk, is the acceleration similar⁉️
I’d take a trackhawk as it’s a bit faster.. but man both are crazy cool
I only watch these video for the faces he makes 😁 on every throttle poke
😳😳😳😵😵😵💫🥴
Pretty awesome, but not even up there in terms of off-road capabilities. Still very impressive and insanely cool. 👍🏻
It’s not really for off roading (trails) good for the dunes tho
Definitely. If you wanted something for going off-road you’d be stupid not to get a LandCruiser anyway, this is a whole different deal though. 👍🏻
Today Ross reviews grew into a man 🤣😂 that’s fucken great lol
😂🇺🇸😈
what happened to the Australian car industry?
Australia has fallen.
America wanted there foot into Australia and they got what they wanted.
@@benson554 can't blame them only. No one was buying enough Ford's and Holdens, everyone buys Asian $$$. It's a real shame.
@@bluepower8593
I do understand that but im not wrong either, America also wanted a foot in Supercars Australia and the buggers got there way with that aswell, bloody America pisses me off with there greed. What's next they buy Australia.
🥲 it’s so sad
@@benson554 Australia doesn't have a large enough population and it is a long way to export to most of the rest of the world.
If I had the money then he'll cat yes lol 😆 I love these trucks
1 power ball
And most likely get 300kms out of a tank. I drive 2022 Silverado HD, Cost approx $350-$400 for a full tank depending on diesel prices and get about 800kms…
Depends how you drive it.. but surprisingly he fuel gauge didn’t move much during my review.. I expect it has a MASSIVE tank
@@RossReviewsau yeh totally agree
Rated at 12 mpg and has a 33 gallon tank. My previous Ram 2500 had a 35 gallon tank and I rarely got more than 30 gallons in it even when the fuel light was on and the range estimate was 0 miles. Assume 28 usable gallons., so 320 mile range. Contrast that to the truck above that had a 6.7L Cummins turbo diesel and had a highway range of around 600 miles (4.10 final drive on 37s).
Sheesh that's one bad ass ute
The most badass
@@RossReviewsau definitely mate
Love The Truck Man. Why Don’t You Consider Buying It
Bro 🤑🤑🤑🤑
Ross reviews so proud of his country with this truck great to see it MURICA
I’m Canadian tho 🥲🤣
@@RossReviewsau rip 😅
Best way to get down to your local Bunnings.
💪💪💪💪
This is badass but damn lower the price a bit 100K is more reasonable
How does that chrome budge on the center console arm rest feel like in the Australian sun
Lucky it was a wet day 🤣 she would burn
Are the raptor R s coming to Australia
I’m not sure.. I don’t believe so 🥲
@@RossReviewsau the ford voodoo V8 5.2 revs so high. But I think both cars are pretty equal in performance!!!! Hopefully maybe in the future.
U can import it yourself but not sure who’s going to convert it
Some people is gonna mistake it for a 6.2 L Hemi who knows maybe the block is that of a Hemi and I love it.
It is a 6.2L Hemi
@@bluepower8593Oh I guess he typed in the wrong name when I asked him in the premiere whoopsie.
I wonder what would happen if Hemi did a 500 in³ version of this almost 935 hp at 8.2 L AKA 500 in³ that is impressive most impressive.
Like a safety cushion on steroids mate. I reckon it’s probably great to hire one for a fortnight until your fuel money runs out 😅🧐😂😂😂
Oh man the fuel bill would kill most for sure 💀🤣
A fill up (30 gallons of premium) would cost you about $120 usd here in Maryland. Fuel prices have gone crazy here in the US in the last couple of years. Three years ago I was paying $2.39 a gallon for regular unleaded. Now it is down to $3.39 from a high point of over $4.
So Brakes? 6 piston Brembos or 2 piston US crap?
So AWD and 4x4 is different right? If so, can this vehicle still properly off road?
It’s always in 4 wheel drive basically.. depending on the drive mode it can be RWD bias tho
Ram offers different vehicles for different types of off road. The TRX is a desert racer. If you wanted to rock crawl in a pickup the Power Wagon in the better option.
If you're buying a truck like this, might as well buy a gas station too.😂
Why not
No wonder you're excited driving that man what an absolute animal & thanks for mentioning the blue haired freaks at the beginning lol & Ram trucks are built tough they don't muck around in Merica I've always loved them even though I'll never get to own one,ok another top notch review you killed it Bro cheers.
Best truck of the year
Surely this must be second hand as you cant sell this after you have had a blast and sell it as a new vehicle ?
Demo vehicle😉 not for sale currently
as much as I like German my cars these crazy hp American machines have my heart ❤ I hope they dont go away for the sake of emission politics and 'electrification'
Living the dream
That day was very good
What's the Australian price please
200k
Got excited thinking it was a 23 not a 22 😢
I wanted to see the new digital cluster
Sorry mate this is an Australian channel.. no new dash here yet
@@RossReviewsau well that makes complete sense , thank you for clearing up , nonetheless a great review
Waiting for Ford F250 - 7.3 l review.
Ohhh that would be nice
I test drove a 7.3 in a F350 SRW a couple of weeks ago. It's a nice engine. I'm hoping to try a 6.8 to see the difference, but not planning on buying either. I have an order in for a F450 King Ranch with the high output diesel that I don't think I will ever get. Orders for the 2024s open in 3 weeks so I am going to change the order to a 2024 F450 Platinum and see if that helps. I have been waiting for this truck since the 2022 model year.
But NEW DODGE BRAND PRODUCTS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE IN AUSTRALIA. Why?
They are selling certain models still
That’s the Shit love it
how good is it eh
20L of petrol per 100k's... 🤯
Have you reviewed a Hellcat by chance?
My cammed VY SS uses 24l per 100 it hasgood economy for a big heavy 4WD.
@@AndrewMitchell001 are you heavy on the accelerator though?
My xr6 turbo only used between 15 and 20 max per 100.
And I was heavy on the throttle.
@@brendanwilson8977 Yeah of course its a V8 so I drive it like one or there's no point having a cammed V8 if you drive it like Nanna.
I’ve reviewed a track hawk with the same engine but not a hell cat (challenge, charger) not yet
I love is holy shit face. It's relative to the engines RPMs
😂🤯
Yer ross. American. N fullas love it if git alot of money. Nice. But i like a hilux with 120 grand on it.
If you want a motor like this but live in the city or dont need a tray, check out the trackhawks at half the price, they will give you the same feeling with the same engine and are slightly lighter. Ross has also done a review on them
