In this episode of Patriot Games we take a road trip with Justin as he tests and reviews the RAM TRX 1500 after owning it for 6 months. This thing is bonkers. 6.2L Supercharge HEMI Hellcat delivering 702hp straight from the factory! Oh and let's give it a Baja mode!
We've driven some amazing cars before, but the TRX is on a whole other level. Every kid had a supercar poster on their walls back in the day, and that's exactly what this is; a supercar.

My family has always owned Dodge/Chrysler products. We've had pretty much every generation of Ram. We use them for construction and heavy hauling. Dodge has always made incredible work horses. Especially when it comes to the quality of their engines.

I will own a Trx. I owned every generation ran, other than 1st. Hemi, and cummins. I've modded and gone through every single one. Currently own a 2019 1500. I drive it like it's a trx, but I've driven every truck that way. I will own a trx.

So i went on the way to my favorite trails..
Only to Find they have been torn to shreds by these.. mummy i have Small Penis..
Wanker boxes.. all the tracks, that i drove on in the 80's.. that where flat..
Now have Huge Ruts you wankers, are ripping Australia to Shreds..
This Thing? is another, Mummy I have A small penis Wank..
My Suzuki can go anywhere this shitbox goes, uses less fuel..
And Does Less Damage.. 4x4 isExploring.. Not Destroying..

All you need is a Suzuki, swag, and duel battery setup, fridge..

Recent trip in Suzy, went to Fav track around mount warning, it now has duvets that would swallow a Commodore.. completely destroyed by These wankers..
The three lights that you see at 5:08 are ID lights required by US DOT due to the vehicle being wider than 80 inches.
I had a Raptor 6.2 which was an extremely capable truck but that TRX looks like its in a different league ❤
Yeah the TRX looks ridiculously mean/angry... TRX Definitely beats the Raptor in the look category!
I have a GC TRX as well and I agree, it's probably the most impressive possession I've ever owned. Absolute beast! I love it!

@Animals&Cars Jesus that is insane its 150k in Canada (20k) over msrp most dealers that have want for it unless you want to order and wait over a year ... between the year long wait and the added fuel cost still on the wall, have a 500hp camaro and I don't know why I'm looking at this "for the utility" which I can get out of a 50k truck... having options is my weakness need to revert to being a monk.

I was debating back and forth. One of the main reasons i got mine was the first part of the video where you said every time i start it up im smiling. I pre ordered a RHO maxed out. Just something about having it kept calling me. Went and got one on May 21, i love it. Best decision i have made for a vehicle. Crystal Granite 2024 final edition with everything on it except ram bars. love it Thank you for your video. This really helped me make my decision along with your enthusiasm.

At least he's using the vehicle as intended, loved seeing the dings in the thing because nothing's worse than someone that has a supercar and doesn't actually run it. I'd have liked to see the video when Justin had to get on his knees and beg Sarah to get one.
Justin, I have a 2006 and a 2018 ram 1500 and they both have Dana 60 axles. We’ll actually they are Chrysler 9.25” which is/was Rams equivalent to a D60. The TRX from what I have seen from other RUclips videos is a Dana 80 like the Ram HD trucks, but it has been customized for higher ground clearance and to accommodate those beastly shocks. I live in south Florida and guys are driving these around instead of lambo’s now. I love it!
Thanks for this video and for the guts to talk about what is real fun of driving a car, V8 power … music to my ears. All this talk about renewables, a very one sighted approach: where do ‘dead’ batteries end up, where does the charging power comes from, what do we need for resources before you have build one EV! These are only a few things in ‘favour’ (being sarcastic) for buying an EV. Bring back the fun in driving, let’s get back our history, our love for driving! Thanks for your enthusiasm in presenting this REAL car, an absolute pleasure to watch.

Quite surprised with the pricing over there - there's about 10 on TradeMe in NZ ranging between $230-250k NZD. Thought they'd be a bit less/more common in OZ!

This is just Ram's version of a Baja race truck. The design team probably saw desert racers and said "Let's build one of those".

I really hoped that the havoc edition came with an optional rwd option but unfortunately they didnt only thing that would make the TRX more menacing. Its a sweet hyper truck
You can probably unbolt the front drive shaft, then ya got a rwd 700 hp ram TRX. Not very mechanically sympathetic but who care, you can rip the maddest skids in a ram 1500
Or just tune out the front engagement like the chargers
They would have to upgrade the Dana 60 rear end to run it in 2wd. The power output of the engine is too close to the maximum that the Dana 60 can handle. That is why the Dana 60 is only used as a front axle on the HD diesels.
Nice.couple of things auto needs a lock kit so u can hold it, instead of it hunting for gears, and some cars have paddle shifters that are solus on the stem instead of trying to change when Ur turning the wheel awkward.switches on the steering wheel next😮😮
