Woukd you use a similar towel to seal the river rock shower floor? Or do you recommend a paint brush?

I used the same towel. No need for a paint brush.

@jericlee1509 honestly in my opinion just apply a sealer so that it is easier to clean. There are no easy ways around tiles in a restaurant.
