OMG you actually did it! Thanks for the Larkin Poe reaction. I'm currently obsessed with everything they do. They deserve more recognition. True musicians through and through.
The segue song pairing Wanted Woman and AC/DC are originals that you can find on their 3rd full length album Peach. Before Peach, AC/DC was paired with Jailbreak for live shows. Jailbreak is another original, which was on their 1st album KIN, and then was later re-recorded for their 2nd album Reskinned. The updated Reskinned was first released by Universal Germany in March of 2016 and was a major turning point in their sound. The Jailbreak/AC/DC pairing was the featured closer at some larger German music festivals that year; and was also part of the stadium gig opening for Queen in Koln Germany that summer.

It's a lap steel. They really do kick major ass live. I've seen them 3 times, they never disappoint

Love these ladies. They're definitely on my bucket list for bands I need to see before I die. I've watched over a dozen videos of their live performances, but I'm sure it doesn't do their talent justice. Also, Megan is playing a lap steel guitar, a.k.a. Hawaiian guitar.

Wonderful reaction, Rachel. I'm glad you had a chance to see them live, they bring so much joy into a performance. They give everything with an open heart and soul. Rebecca often sings the songs differently each performance, with many hoots and hollers added in. I know many a metalhead that love Larkin Poe, so there is great appeal. This performance of "Wanted Woman" was recorded in 2018 during the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas, during which they played 7 shows in 3 days, if I remember correctly. It was after that weekend where I first saw them live in a club about the size of this one, but it was just the Lovells, no drums or bass. Phenomenal. I've seen them many times since, and they always bring it. If you want another reaction, "Mad As a Hatter" with the Nu Deco Ensemble is great. Larkin Poe and an orchestra? Awesome.

Those two sisters are amazing!!! Been listening to them for years. They do more than just about anyone to keep the Blues alive. They actually started in a family Bluegrass band. The singer, besides being a great singer and guitar player is a world-class mandolin player.
The instrument she is playing is called a Lap Steel.
Wow! They are cool, yep! And may be you like this : Skating Polly - Hail Mary Very expressive and emotional vocal. With hidden rage inside.
They are from from down the road where I used to live and work in GA.. great duo❤
They've both been playing various instruments since they were 2 or 3 years old. There's actually a third sister who's a year or so older than Megan. The three of them toured for several years on the bluegrass circuit as The Lovell Sisters. The oldest sister decided that life on the road wasn't for her so she returned home, finished a college degree and got married. These two obviously enjoyed the road and we're glad they did
Larkin Poe are so good. I agree they are musical Goddesses. You might like the Irish band Dea Matrona, two school friends Orlaith (Orla) Forsyhe and Mollie McGinn who swap between guitar and bass, share lead vocals and their harmonies are amazing, especially when they do acoustic songs, though they they are mostly electric.
When they go into the AC/DC part of the song, I definitely get a Led Zeppelin vibe. What do others think
Have you done any Linkin Park reactions? I would suggest Given Up for a good reaction. They have so many ups and downs from aggressive to sad and are popular for reactions because of the raw emotion in all of their songs
@Rayactions - So did you get to them play live before or after they changed drummers; used to be Kevin McGowan...now their drummer is Ben Satterlee. Megan plays the lap steel slide guitar, not a rhythm guitar. Definitely not a mandolin! Rebecca plays the mandolin, but not much these days.
I don't see a lot of steel guitar outside of Nashville. New artist for me. Will look further. Nice

The girls started out in a wholesome blue grass band with their older sister. Then they heard the blues and decided that they wanted to be "bad girls" instead.
And, they do it _so_ well.

Actually two separate songs, but AC/DC is alway paired with another song.
