One of my best tips for Alaska. If you are worried about fitting all of your goodies into your suitcase, not to worry. There is a post office that is easy to find in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan. Bring your own packaging tape and grab the largest flat rate box and shove all of your new t-shirts in it and ship it home. If you only buy a few things in each port, wait until your last stop to ship all of your goodies home. It's well worth it!
Nice video of Mt. Roberts. I actually worked for the company that made and maintained the trail system there. One of the best jobs I ever had. Everyday was an adventure. Thank you for letting me see it again.
I always enjoy your videos.....I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again.....you have a great family.and I’m Happy you have all these great memories to share with us and each other.
Thank you guys so much for sharing your journey's with us. We are going to Alaska in 2021 for our 25 wedding anniversary, my wife's 50th birthday. You are helping me so much to help plan. We Love watching you guys.
So enjoying your reactions of how beautiful Alaska is and how excited you are. We live near the mountains and although they are beautiful it’s what we have grown up with. We are the same way when we see other parts of the world. Nothing is better when you see a place you know and experience it through someone else’s eyes.
We really love this series. One look at the tram station at the top of the mountain and Jeannie was unsure about taking the tram lol Thanks for the video!
WOW! I could totally feel your excitement and joy! Can you even imagine how breathtaking it would be if you hadn't been in a cloud? (I bet you thought that too, huh?) And the shopping!!!! YASSSS!!!! What amazing memories you are creating for your sons. Can't wait for the next vlog and the Duck Fart experience. Alaska is a definite on my bucket list now.
I've been to Alaska via the Canadian-Alaska Highway, but never via the cruise. My parents always wanted to do this cruise, but mom got sick and they never did. Maybe I'll have to do one of these Alaskan cruises 'in their honor'. BTW, Jason and Elisha, I do find your videos valuable/informative. Thank you!
I normally have done warm weather cruises but did Alaska a couple years ago. Watching your videos I’m ready to go back. It was pouring rain when we were in Juno so my friends didn’t want to do the tram. I was going to anyway but was getting soaked so I didn’t. Next time I will be sure to bring an umbrella and do it. I live in Portland Oregon so I just a few hours to a cruise. It will be awhile though because I have other cruises I need to do first. I’m enjoying your trip. Thanks for sharing.
Another amazing vlog by eecc travels. Thank you for sharing your family vacation and all the beautiful scenery. Sincerely Adventures of David and Aaron.⚓⚓⚓
It's so nice to see how much your boys are enjoying the cruise. I live in the mountains of West Virginia which I love. The hike y'all took reminds me of a hike I have taken about an hour from where we live. We have also taken a tram ride up the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg TN to Ober Gatlinburg. It is a fun ride with all of the breathtaking mountain views.
What a great video. Alaskan scenery is very similar to parts of the South Island here in New Zealand. It's really great to see how much your boys are appreciating the different environment.
Just cruised into Juneau on Royal Caribbean and walked right over to the tram and went up. the sights up top are unbelievable! $55 per person all day access.
You guys make me home sick as I did spend a good amount of my childhood in Alaska! Taking my husband there in the first week of October! Thanks so much for your great videos! You’re so adorable!
Loved it (as usual)…….we contemplated doing the lift but didn't, guess what were going back. And great to see the boys enjoying themselves and participating....
We didn't do the tram last time we went on a cruise here, but after watching your AWESOME vlog, we are definitely going! Unfortunately we will not get those great end of season deals you did- and I'm all for the sales! BTW..our son's (24) an Eagle Scout , so I too share the love of nature! The trails, waterfalls & totems were super cool. Thanks for sharing..
Hello! Great video, very helpful! Could you please let me know how much time did it take to go up the tram, do the hike and come back down? We have another excursion planned for later and I would like to know if we can squeeze the tram and short hike in?
Wow guys this was something else!! We must take that tram ride someday!! So we’re booked for 2020 already (Vista and Mardi Gras) but will have to seriously consider this for 2021!! Amazing!
We were there a couple of years ago. That was one of my favorite gift shops on the whole 10 day cruise. Got the matching gloves to those slippers. Lol. I would definitely do it all again. Also had a duck fart at the red dog saloon and signed the wall. Lol
I’ve only been out of Alaska for a few months now currently living in Florida and you guys are making me miss the cooler weather! I was born and raised there and have never been to Juneau :/
You're not in Louisiana anymore! The tram is so much fun and the views are amazing, the only thing better is taking a sea plane over the glaciers. I wish I were in Alaska right now but my July cruise was cancelled. Fortunately, we have a group cruise next year so that will be amazing :)
Went on a HAL cruise in Alaska a couple of years ago. Very beautiful but I don't think I would cruise up there again. I would go to Alaska again but would prefer to see other locations rather than the cruise ports. Glacier bay was fantastic though.
I suffer from depression. I don’t think I could go to Alaska. The dreary weather no sunshine, would do me in. When I go to the sunny Caribbean, it helps me tremendously. I’m glad you guys enjoyed your trip though.
This was my nephews and I favorite day we took the tram with my mom while my dad stayed at the bottom (he’s super afraid of heights) when we got up my mom stayed at the coffee shop and my nephew and I hiked up the mountain we made it past the cross and almost to the peak. It was awesome.
MAKE SURE TO PICK UP A ULU KNIFE. IS THE BEST KNIFE YOU WILL EVER OWN. I CLIMB THE TRAIL ALL THE WAY TO THE TOP OF MOUNT ROBERTS. I SAW A MARMOT ON THE TRAIL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS VIDEO. SO MANY GREAT MEMORIES.
I live in Alaska If you're ever curious about scouting up here What it's like , high adventures, Or camp staff opportunities Look up midnight sun council
I can relate to the moment when your kiddo is looking for a keychain with his name on it lol my son is named Colby and he always complains about the same thing! Hello from Alaska and I love love the videos!!
The tramway website doesn't really say this, but what is the maximum amount of people that can fit in a tram? And for cell phone use (if we even bring it on shore), does the recommendation to leave it on airplane mode (to avoid crazy high roaming charges) still apply? Or did you find that once you were in port, you standard cell carrier's signal was what it usually is back home in the continental US?
Oh that's good to hear! Our group of 8 are sailing to Alaska May2020 on the Star Princess, and we are hoping to explore the ports together as much as possible. None of us weigh over 230lbs, so I think this means we can get on the tram together heehee

I would definitely do that tram. Just the view from there and from atop...there are now words, just wow!
Makes me want to go to Alaska. I will put that on my bucket list.
“It’s so real”🤣🤣🤣 I’m so enjoying these!
Funny" Mom, its not fog, its just a cloud." :-)
I am enjoying your Alaska videos so much! I only wish they were longer!

It is the last week in October now...
Mike nhgoldprospector yes the first week of October 2020. Sorry for the confusion.
We did all three when we were there. Mendenhall glacier, tram ride and red dog saloon!
Loved it (as usual)…….we contemplated doing the lift but didn't, guess what were going back. And great to see the boys enjoying themselves and participating....

How cool I didn't realize your boys were scouts! I am a camp ranger with the BSA and Cub master of a pack!
Awesome!! We spent many years in the Scouting programs and made so many wonderful memories!!
fog is a "low-lying cloud" nice video, we will be in Alaska on a cruise next May.
Been to Juno three times now. Always wanted to ride the tram but my husband and kids are afraid of heights. Next time I’ll go by myself lol.
ty lots of fun
Just found you. Enjoyed!
rewatching this. can we just take a second to admire how long Jasons hair was at this time lol
It looks beautiful! I dont know if I could ever bring myself to not do a warm weather cruise. Maybe....
We loved Juneau, also don’t the tram. Amazing views.
If you guys were out at the AJ Dock I wonder how many of those standing in line knew that it's only like a 5 minute walk to the tramway ;)
You guys look so cute with your braces! You're family is going to have the most beautiful teeth on every cruise. Lol
You gotta do the mountains in the Caribbean next time. Alaska is beautiful...but the rain...
Is the first week of October a good time to go on the Bliss? Seattle, Juneau, Skagway and BC?
Love your videos, where going in may 2020. Wanted to know what coat did jason have on. It looks like it did the job .thanks for your videos.
It was a down filled jacket. Very lightweight and folds up for taking little space but warm enough for these temps.
@@EECCTravels thank you

Those whale tail earrings are soooo you.
I loved our Alaskan cruise! So much fun, but then when you get stuck living here. Not as amazing or fun😂
what month did you go for this trip?
Did you have the hilarious shuttle driver who talks about there is only one road in Juneau ?
What time of the year was this?
So beautiful. Thanks for sharing., but where is your other son?
He is a marine stationed in California.
I can relate to the moment when your kiddo is looking for a keychain with his name on it lol my son is named Colby and he always complains about the same thing! Hello from Alaska and I love love the videos!!

If I remember correctly the weight capacity was approximately 3,500 lbs!
And you are in the USA while in port so you can use your phone

Do you have to pay for the shuttle to the tram or does the Cruise line provide the shuttle?
The buses were free
What month did you guys go,?
