The GTO back in the day, some people nicknamed it the goat, at least a lot of elder dudes called them that
people refer to my gto as goat all the time and they're only in their 30's,40's,n 50's funny enough all the old timers dont call it goat because usually its the older guys that cant cope with a newer gto being out
True, when I was a kid I went to a car show with my dad and someone had a goat sound for its horn and my dad busted out laughing

Yes, but it is for structural integrity and weight reduction. And if you minus weight, then it takes you less seconds to get to Sixty or One Hundred or to your top speed.
Also the cage is just carbon wrapped lol it says chromoly cage in build sheet
The roll cage is something that had to added to the car for safety and the guy decided he wanted it to be that material. It’s different than replacing your deck lid or mirrors with carbon

Also in Australia its referred to as the Holden Monaro GTO as well but also back in the day Australia and America made a deal which we ship the Holden shells for the Ls motors well that's if I'm right but not to sure but yeah

Depends on the person with the 'Maro. I am still on the fence about how good the Gen threes look and nothing newer. But I'm in my Fifties. That is the GTO's nickname, a Goat. A coin flip between the Mustang and C7. And I would have liked to see the Cobalt on the dragstrip.
I saw the cobalt racing irl. Its a crazy car. Never expected this on my dragstrip, a sleeper when you squeeze your eyeball. French Canadian represents 🤘
As soon as I saw the massive racing slicks and the car tubbed out I knew what the deal was 😂

Love the 5th gen. Had a 15 2SS with a 6 speed. Fun car, heavy as fuck. My boy has a little single cab short bed f150 with a 5.0 and a 10 speed. That thing would pull on my ss every time. He had some money in it though. I was all stock. Ended up trading for a new gti. Wanted to try building a boosted 4 banger since I’ve had nothing but v8s until now. Definitely handles better
But, I love them V8 Muscle Flakes

that Z06 is probably priced pretty decently. A low miles stock Z06 can go from 70 - 85 depending on the package.

WHen i was in highschool the GTO came out like this red one and for some reason i always wanted one. I think they look good and have a decent amount of power stock. I think they are slept on and i have seen a few on the drag strip with parachutes. Some of them are nasty fast.

As a GTO owner It is considered the Goat...I have the 2006 6.0. Built very similar to this 1 in the video. 1st build was STS rear mount Twins. Power was 988rwp

It’s pretty cool. I’ve seen a 69’ Camaro with a big block and a massive blower. Car was tubbed, and had the stock front seats, holly efi, restored the front passenger compartment to put it simply.
Funny car tires in the back, skinnies up front.
Has too be a 300 000$ build at least.
Every part of the dudes engine was chromed. Paint job was insane. Think it was the house of colour red. It was so unique it had too be.
Shiny ass chrome drag wheels, which hurt your eyes too look at.
I've actually seen a few posts on facebook marketplace that had videos attached to them, so there must be a way to add them in along with the pictures. Guess a lot of people just don't take the time to include those, which sucks cause it's always nice to hear and see the car running. Especially when it's a built car with a lot of power
It is a blanket on the bottom of the colbolt they are prevented to stop oil from getting on the track or under your tire while racing but they had there downfalls they are known to burn peoples cars down so that’s the reason why most just don’t use them

As a gto owner they can be bad ass when built, that being said they are a bit heavier than a vette but can be fast

Carbon doesn’t add power but it lowers weight so even tho you might not notice your stock car is slightly faster with that carbon hood
But for the price of a carbon fiber hood you could probably get and intake and tune which would make more difference than the weight reduction. I feel like that's how drew thinks about it

@@sugma69420 even if you only do a carbon hood you’re still losing weight which in turn makes you quicker; now is it a better use of your money to buy carbon rather than actual mods? No but my point is correct

I'd assume the first mustang was pushing over 1200hp, But the only issue with buying somebody elses build if you never know how much money you will have to put into it to keep it at full potential

Carbon parts like fenders hoods trunks are soo worth the money, not only they look cool the are stronger and more lighweight,and more lightweight means you go faster with the same hp

Its mine. The carbon was because my 8 year old wanted it, the wheels are 15s and I have 2 other street sets. The hp is over 1600. The parachute is removable.

You'd have to be crazy to spend over new MSRP for a used car. Not to mention post pandemic mods started adding huge value for some reason. It blows my mind you'd buy a modded car for that much knowing it's been beat on and anything could let go at any time.

I had a GTO with that LS engine that sadly I sold like I regret selling my GTO and my old school 200SX and some other Japanese cars I bought back then
"The Goat" as in an actual goat, not G.O.A.T., is what they called the OG Pontiac GTO when it came out. Some even got goat badges made, my uncle had one on his when I was a kid but he let that car go a long time ago.

Assuming there's nothing wrong with that 5th Gen Camaro, $38k is an absolute fucking steal on that thing. I was expecting the owner to part with it for like $50k or somewhere around that, but $38k for a (potential) 1.2k RWHP Camaro is nutty. Weight-wise, the 5th Gen SS is maybe 50 to 100 lbs heavier than the '15 to '17 S550 GT Mustang, so might not take much effort in putting that Camaro on a diet, if it hasn't gone on one already. And for $38k, the extra saved cash could go towards an upgraded transmission, rest of drivetrain, etc.

Nothing wrong with the car..I take absolute care of it..the slightest change in idle or noise, goes straight to shop to make sure, and oil changes every 500-1000 miles
