This is not the traditional Mexican caldo de pollo that my family and I’ve been cooking. Today I made this, not sure if I like it, the taste was different, it felt like something was missing. Can’t complain though, I’m sure this soup boost my immune system.
OMGGG LOVE this soup and learned to cook it years ago BUT do not cook it because my local very nice Mexican restaurant makes it really well (hot&spicy) with a great red sauce. I love the family that owns it and gives me a great reason to stop by and visit and have a large bowl with their house corn tortillas and beer all at their bar watching WARRIOR GAMES on cool cold winter Oakland rainy evenings which is often enough

I like those mirlitons (chayotes) to have a little more crispness or crunch when I bite into them. If you're the same then add when you add the cabbage.
For the corn do you just pick it up and eat it or cut it off and return it to the bowl . Just curious how it’s normally ate with soups that have them whole in it.

That is sort of the point though right? If the book only contained recipes we could get (for free) on RUclips then people would complain right? I for one would think of it as an exclusive recipe collection if that is the case, I hope to buy the book but I'm unsure if it ships to the UK 🇬🇧
If you bought her booking thinking it was gonna have all of the recipes she’s posted on RUclips over the years, you might want to think again. Claudia has been posting content for years and I don’t think that was her goal with the book. She’s got enough content for a few books not just one.
Those impurities are called bacteria. It dies when you boil it. I'm certified in health food. I had to skim alot of that when I was making marinara sauce at the resorts. Lol
