CALDO DE POLLO ( TRADITIONAL MEXICAN CHICKEN SOUP)

- Hello my beautiful fam welcome back to my kitchen, today I’m going to share with you how to make a very easy and delicious caldo de pollo, chicken soup loaded with many veggies! This soup is perfect for a cold rainy day or just to simply enjoy it on any day .Like every recipe and every household there are tons of variations that make this delicious recipe , this is the way I was taught and I hope you enjoy it! Ingredients:
5 lbs chicken (meat with bone gives it a special flavor)
20 cups of water ( 1 1/4 gallon )
1 white onion
2 Roma tomatoes
5 garlic cloves
1/2 cup chicken bouillon
1 package sazón Goya
1/2 cup Apple cider vinegar
ALL VEGGIES ARE OPTIONAL Bunch of cilantro
8 oz carrots
1 cabbage
2 mexican squash
3 whole corn
5 potatoes
2 chayotes
1 serving of love 💕

I've done caldo de pollo following other recipe videos. This is by far the easiest to follow. The timing you give for how long and when to add the vegetables is appreciated. I cooked this today and my husband was impressed. My kids loved the broth and asked for seconds. Thank you!
I've never been good in the kitchen till I ran into your channel. I love cooking now and if I want to learn something knew I look it up here to see if you have a recipe. You make it so easy for me. I have ADHD and everything I cook I burn but with your recipes the timing is always perfect and the food always delicious.

Watching these videos are the closest i can get to cooking with my Buelita Paz’s when i was little, but i never knew any of her recipes because i was too young to reach the stove when she passed. I did go to culinary school so I could try to teach myself what ingredients i could use to get as close to her recipes as possible. I will try this tonight, but I am going to replace the water with broth and see if I can make my own boullion to try to avoid extra salts (doctors orders). I cant wait to try it! My brother and i were OBSESSED with her caldo.

So my hubby is sick and was like maybe clau has done a caldo de pollo video and omg it’s this one. So i followed your receta step by step except for the cabbage i put it in after my carne. And it came out perfect. This is the first time i cook for my hubby and he said i did really good.
