WE HAVE AN EXTRA SQUAD MEMBER AS ALEX'S GIRLFRIEND NEA SURPRISED ALEX AND CAME OVER EARLY. SHE WAS A GREAT HELP AND ENJOYED HER DAY AS A BRICKIES LABOURER/APPRENTICE.
THE SCAFFOLD WAS VERY CRAMPT AGAIN BUT WE MANAGED AS WE ALWAYS DO.... ENJOY

I think more young people should follow Alex's example and get a trade instead of going to university getting into debt for what well done Alex's keep going following your dad he is a very good teacher
My dad was a builder he took me out of school at 15 and said you will learn more with me I'm now 55 and a Project Manager in construction thanks dad

There are so many advantages to learning a trade for young people today. Its hard work but rewarding, and to have a skill set for life means you will always be able to earn a good wage.

Nea is an only child so helps her dad around their beautiful farmhouse in the middle of nowhere . They have just self built a stunning extension on it too 😍It’s very beautiful, Alex arrived there last night.
It’s real struggle now Justin although I can get around on a walking stick .
Gutted we can’t get to any theme parks though as although I can get in and out the jolting is too painful . We nearly went to Alton towers and I was going to hire a disabled scooter 🥺🧱👍🏽

Her house sounds perfect to me Steve just hope you keep Alec here in the uk a mate .I just been told my shoulder is done need a new one .my back and shoulder had me up at 6 am to painful to lay in bed .my brain says I really want to carry on but the pain I'm in says otherwise 51 and this job although I still love it its ruined my body Steve I worked my arse off I was always the last bricklayer on site but hard work never killed anyone just paralysis you instead .issue is what else can we do .id end up telling someone to xxxx off working for these little police men power freaks anywhere else so ?

It’s very true the job you love doesn’t love you back.
I cringe watching the young lads lifting too much thinking they are invisible as we did too .
Nobody wants 50 something workers even though we have the experience and knowledge .
I can only hope you can get some kind of treatment and get sorted to but you a few more years till Fray is ready to take over 😔🧱👍🏽

My goodness Al, you are a lucky guy! Nea is such a beautiful young lady - and I can't imagine many young female girlfriends willing to climb up scaffolding to chip old mortar away from old bricks! And on a crappy morning too! Is it necessary to 'save' the bricks because they are no longer available? Or some other reason? I'm all for recycling, but that's a lot of effort for not a lot of reward? Yet another good job fellas, solid, all-round performance from the team. Thanks for the uploads and sharing fellas.

Lads... Nea is a Beaut.. She reminds me of the many times my wife, Helen has come out with me on cold mornings to help assemble my tower, clean bricks, assist with cleanup of site and many other jobs. My son worked for me for a year ahead of going to University and almost eclipsed me with his energy and enthusiasm. I am (supposed to be) retired but look after my elderly regulars who often recall my son and want to know in great detail where he is and what he does. Perhaps what I am saying is I learnt from people who gave good service and kept a "clean ship". We may not get rich but I can honestly say that I never had dispute with a client.... Bob (Weston super Mare) PS Helen is in the same hip situation as yourself Steve.
