      Every kid should have the basics of home building. Instead of gender studies and psychology..they should ALL learn how to make a push-fit joint, cut a joint in timber, paint a window, unblock a sink, make some concrete and lay a level brick ...all simple stuff that will stay with them for life. I bet Alex appreciates what you have given him now in life. A job and pride. Respect to you Sir.

    It`s nice to see there are still people who have pride in their work and do the job properly .I recently finished of my neighbour's tiling in her kitchen as the professional who was doing it hardly ever turned up, I had to redo around the sockets as he had done them in two pieces and he hadn't started in the middle of the window.

    Steve what’s the weight of a concrete block ? and love the little funny bits that Alex puts in that you don’t know about till you edit. Just looked like he’d got you in the palm of his hand then flicked you over the edge. Also where the blocks go into two columns don’t you have to put any tie things in ?

    • @SteveAndAlexBuild

      As for the pillars the flat block tie them into the main wall 🧱👍🏽

    Do double brick wall improve sound insulation or there is little improvement from a single brick wall? Just curious🤔

    • @SteveAndAlexBuild
      @SteveAndAlexBuild  3 года назад +1

      It will improve it but it’s more for strength. For better sound insulation a cavity wall with insulation in the cavity is way better 🧱👍🏽
