these videos are honestly golddust, as someone who's done a heap of diy over the years after 12 months watching these I just recently dug out and poured footings for a garage built, completed first rows of block work and poured the slab ready for the builders starting saving about 4 grand on the build, took me prob week longer than it would them but turned out great and builder said it was spot on, couldnt of done it without Alex and Steve
Just another good day in the office! Running out of superlatives for the effort you two guys put in - great results come from such teamwork as you demonstrate, time and time again. Brilliant gesture from the customer - those toasted breakfast sarnies look great!
When you guys finally get to the brick work it is an absolute pleasure to watch. You guys really are masters of your trade. It is just a bit of a shame that there is so much prep work which unfortunately is not too good for the hip. When you look back at all the concrete that had to come out, then new concrete had to go in, plus a whole host of other things just to get to this stage. Either way, you got through that and finally you got to your trade. Well done. great work as always.
blimey once you get started you really crack on with the Brick work which looks fantastic and nice to see solid brick . great video which I thank you for .
Hi to you both, I have been viewing your various jobs for the last couple of years and found them interesting on a variety of levels. I started to watch during the covid pandemic and got addicted to your real reality TV! I am living in Melbourne now although originally from England, London area. I emigrated here because both my sons and their families live here. I am 80 years old so have plenty of time to watch RUclips!!!
Hi alex i know how hard you and you're dad work iv been on sites with bricklayers and mad pug mixes digging out and carrying bricks and block and you're dad iv done bricklaying both are hard
Hey Steve and Alex. Another great job. Could you add commentary to explain why you are using different bricks/ blocks/ poured concrete at different times. Your process is different from what is done in Canada. Cheers from Nova Scotia
hi steve and alex. i cant believe the building inspector makes you cut into the existing brickwork to form a vertical damp. we are allowed to put damp at back of wall starters with very little damage and stronger job all round.nice see to that your cracking on .all the best for the future and hopefully a swift recovery.👍
Not mach bulldozer action today. But I think you both had your running shoes on! But jokes aside you have done well even with the rain gods against you .In the mean time please stay safe best regards as always Ken
Fine work. My house is all brick here in Texas and I look at the brick work after watching you and it’s missing the quality of your work. Sloppy pointing and uneven level on brick rows. Your customers are a lucky bunch. Cheers
Hi guys love your vids. Can you tell me the corner blocks you use do you have to adjust the profile setting screws or does it work straight from the box 👍

Hi guys love your vids. Can you tell me the corner blocks you use do you have to adjust the profile setting screws or does it work straight from the box 👍
Slide them on and they are ready to go .
Great kit.
Thanks very much 👌🏼🧱👍🏽
How did u keep the brick end plum by putting the pin behind the wall starter?
🧱👍🏽
Hi , really enjoying your videos, was wondering why profiles don't have built in spirit levels, ?
Thanks pal …. No idea 🧐🧱👍🏽
Do they have a Milwaukee battery whacker ?
Just in the process of launching it in the US 🇺🇸 🟥♥️🧱👍🏽
Steve you’ll need to enter super trowel and go up against Charlie 🏴🏴
Nobody likes to lose 😆🧱👍🏽
Why do you concrete inside the bottom of the cavity ? Love the vids both.
Thanks pal .
Cavity should be solid from 300 mm below dpc 🧱👍🏽
Alright chaps, what is the name of the corner blocks you are using please
Hi pal google Fitzbrick 👍🏽🧱
What happens if the brick is soaking wet, do you just use a dryer mix?
Soaking wet is too wet to use .
🧱👍🏽
keep going trying to scratch a living at the building game
🧱👍🏽
Roll on spring now lads had enough of the winter now.Another great video bricklaying in winter its hard mentally not just physically 🧱🧱👍
Very true Justin but we still love it for some bizarre reason 🤪🧱👍🏽
👍👍💥
🧱👍🏽
They'll deduct £50 for you using the heat gun 😂 👍
😏🧱👍🏽
How long does your mixer last?
16 years so far 👌🏼🧱👍🏽

@hilaryandbrianreid9876 😌😁🧱👍🏽
🇨🇦🤓🤙
🤘🏻🤘🏻🧱👍🏽
12th Feb?
Thanks for the heads up. It’s been corrected 🤙🏾🧱👍🏽
Why don't you cut out in the wall so there is no break in the insulation? Ie cut a channel in existing wall throigh the face brick.
@trailbuilding . Building inspector didn’t want us to do that 👍🏽🧱
@@trailbuildingdoesn't mean the ties in the house support that. Can cause a major weakness. Never been asked on 100 + extension
🧱👍🏽
I'm amazed you haven't needed to setup Milwaukee LED site lights...
Stay tuned 😉🧱👍🏽
"promosm" 😁
????
A bit off the plumb way a profile come on lads u could drive a bus throw that
Come back when you can string a sentence together that make sense and maybe check your spelling so thou don’t look as silly 🤪
Summer days and warm nights will be here shortly guy's.
😬🤞🏼🤞🏼🧱👍🏼
