Ungly, but it does work. Your next project should be a lawn leveler. Use it to level that soil and then roll it to compact and smooth. But you already know that. Good diy project video.
This is great! I have to make something like this to compact the sand at the bottom of my pool. I'm thinking of using a cardboard shipping tube. Do you think I could just pull a rope through the middle and pull it that way? I think the weight of the roller would level it out enough the idea is just to cover up and indentations or footprints.
