The LC500 is going to be a future collectible and people will be kicking themselves for passing it over.
It’s definitely a fantastic car, I test drove one. But it felt slow, heavy, impractical and outdated. And kind of overpriced. I was also surprised how quiet it was even in the upper revs. The videos make it seem so much louder than it actually is in person. So I’m not quite sure how it will be a future classic.

@@maynardewm When you're driving fairly relaxed, the car is supremely quiet and comfortable, but when you really thrash the thing it sounds like some kind of angry Sumerian thunder god, it's absolutely deafening

Ever since I first saw the interior of the LC500, I have held the opinion that it is my favorite interior out of any car. Super stylish and refined. A real beauty.

The Pagani Huayra is the only car that is a match for it, if you ask me. (And that is a 2.5 million hypercar!!) Both have such beautiful interiors!

Those AJ V8's in the Jags are still fairly reliable. The AJ 4.2Ls in the older Jags were very reliable 200-400k mile engines.

@@squiresonwheels3249 they’ve been using this engine since the ISF and I’ve seen multiple of those with close to 300k with no major issues. Modern lexus are just as reliable in my ownership experience as the older ones
I love these. Haven't experienced the convertible but the coupe version is one of my favorite cars I have ever driven. I hope to have one in my garage someday! Edit - I call this video the "Twofer with Topher". That Jag sounds amazing!

That interior is absolutely stunning
Still think these cars are so underrated. Such a unique car, almost in a class of its own. The looks, the luxury, the SOUND.....(minus the terrible infotainment controls)....absolutely brilliant. Definitely close to the top of my list when it comes to dream cars.
I absolutely love the sound of this car. I'm not really a convertible person but if I had the means I definitely pick one of these up. The LC500 is special.

@@TedwardDrives Just from the videos I've seen from you and Topher on this car, I get it. The baby LFA delivers! That redline is intoxicating and I'd go as far to say that you can stick that interior in a Bentley and not very many people would complain.

Also, this is a Lexus Mustang honestly. Both 5.0 naturally aspirated V8s, both 10 speeds, both around 480 hp.
I've watched so much LC500 vids, hopefully I'll be blessed enough one day to own one, still my dream car
I sat in a LC500 coupe at Carmax last year, it's sticker price was $80k on the dot. I've got to say, as soon as I sat in the car. I wanted it. Yes the muscle cars like the late model Mustang, Camaro and Challengers were nice. But the feel and look of the LC500 let alone the drive train had me sold. If I'd be able to afford it, I would love to own one of these cars.

Yeah the coupes are 75k-85k the convertibles however are 102k-120k avg

@@bassfan71 the reason the convertibles are more expensive is because of the top mechanics obviously but they also come standard with a lot of the performance package options from the coupe.
The coupe doesn't come fully Loaded and doesn't come standard with lsd etc

God this car is astonishing. Classic NA V8. Gorgeous interior, gorgeous exterior styling. And how can I not mention that extremely quick shifting 10 speed auto. I will say it should've been a true coupe, those backseats look even more unusable than your typical coupe with backseats.

I left your video for today's coffee as per usual, but I already thought yesterday what I wanna say here and it turns out you said exactly same stuff within the first 30 seconds of this video what I had on my mind. Hands down a dream car if I were 60yo. Jokes aside, it is a dream car for a couple cars garage solution with it being the daily or for shorter cruises assuming I were to have something like an RS6 or X5/Cayenne already for longer trips/big shopping like furniture & stuff. The interior is a piece of art. I absolutely love the center tunnel and the shape of that dashboard. I kinda wish the screen wasn't there and the clock was on the center surrounded by piano black panel, but that's a very minor complaint and that wish is really unrealistic in a modern, luxurious cabriolet. I always thought the wheel on this one definitely looks good, maybe it isn't the prettiest wheel in the world but it definitely looks like the most comfortable one. Looks like it has the perfect thickness down to a micrometer in diameter. Maybe it's the leather colour, but it looks... creamy?

My favorite car at the moment, rolling art that’s a symphony! And comes from a company that makes the Prius so it will have good reliability! The world needs more of these. All manufacturers take a page from this book!
This car has one of the best interiors i have ever seen in that tan colour especially. Sadly i could only afford the RC but i am still happy with it all the same.

I bought my 3rd ex wife a 2006 Solara convertible. I loved it and left my 06 Z06 Corvette in the garage. It left my life with 168000 trouble free miles. I immediately found another one outta state and bought it. Enjoying it still today. Who new they made fun cars that didn't break down.

No wind buffeting all the way up to 80 mph is insane! I am so annoyed by wind buffeting in cars - even with the front windows all the way down many are uncomfortable starting at 40 mph.
