Just fitted one of these using push fits and copper tube will give you full flow but make sure pipe is supported close to mixer valve from behind as one of my pipes moved slightly when pushed on prior to cutting, if in doubt put a packer behind the elbows. Also would recommend trying the valve cover over the valve to align everything before putting valve on pipes as a lot going on in there that can catch as you put it on. Also valve cover seems to sit off the wall a bit don't know if this is normal but does not cause a leak.

How do I get the yellow installation tool to disassemble my shower?

Can plastic pushfit elbows be used on the other end of the copper pipes behind the wall? Or would they restrict the flow to the shower? Thanks

Hi Simon, the correct push-fit connections shouldn’t restrict the flow.

Hi @CraftyTan did you manage to disassemble this? I’m struggling to get the cover shroud off and wonder if you’d managed it. Thanks. Michael

@CraftyTan Thanks for getting back to me. I’m struggling to get the cover shroud off. Removed the thermostat dial but can seem to pull off the cover. Feels like it’s clipped in somewhere and needs releasing and I’m pulling against the whole system.

@@curlypara9 Oh have you unscrewed it from the bottom? Underneath do you have the yellow screw for it?

Hi @i9580 just wondered if you managed to sort this. It looks mine was installed without the outlet connecter. Having trouble taking the front shroud off.
