Hi Mira. Request for assistance. The flow valve on the left end has left hand thread notches in the brass nut. The same system used on flamable gas bottles. So unsure why this nut requires a left hand thread. Having relased the thread grip, the brass nut rotates but does not undo from the bar. The nut rotates continually only. No outward movement. How does the flow valve release from its housing so that it can be replaced? Thank you.
Hello, our recommendation would be that water ingress into the wall is best prevented by sealing the pipework as it exits the wall and before the fast fix kit is installed. The concealing plates provided are really for an aesthetic finish rather than for waterproofing.
Installed one tonight, its leaking from behind the fixing plate, thought it was strange so taped it up, still leaking, cant get the plate off though as the olive is tight, any ideas
Hello, sorry for the delayed response. We would advise contacting our customer service team who will be able to advise immediately over the phone based on how you describe the installation. You can find our contact details on our website www.mirashowers.co.uk/support/contact-us/

would Mira recommend mastic is applied around the concealing plates to ensure fully watertight?
