50:49 In later runs, you should consider putting the silver bottle back and keeping the gate closed before picking up the gold bottle. You’ll stop the crossbow enemies from coming in the room (though they can still shoot you), then stay near the middle of the wall that comes up so they can’t hit you. You should be able to dispatch the other Armaduras quickly, then use a flash grenade to kill them.
I was doing that before, but the gate makes the hit detection worse. And one enemy would still be behind the door on the right (golden bottle) somehow, were you able to prevent that?
@@Aether2125 I couldn’t prevent the spawn in the gold door, but I could stand my ground for a bit, then run in the back area, deal with the Armaduras, then use a flash.
49:48 Not sure if you know this, but when you pick up the bottle and the lights go out, only the first Armadura will aggro. The second is triggered by proximity, so you can hold back after picking up the bottle to dispatch the first Armadura, then deal with the next one. Also, I don’t know if this is true, but I think it takes fewer shots to stun Armaduras when you hit them during attack animations.

Man, that double garrador strat is beautiful. Also pretty cool how you can stay close to U3 in the first phase. The game kinda encourages it to avoid that fucking projectile attack.
I was supposed to get at least one heavy grenade before the garradors which would make it much easier. Of course in an attempt I didn't get a single heavy grenade there and crafting is only available in the next chapter. Yeah for the first phase of U3, you're supposed to stay either too close and keep parrying or mid-range. Its AI follows the typical RE8 boss formula where it has a few attacks on cooldown and once all of them are temporarily blocked it will try to follow you and do close range attacks.
@@Aether2125 I just got through U3 on Pro. Gotta say, he is pretty fun except for too much health. And the second phase is strange, his lunging attack has some insane range and hit detection. It is just wide enough to give you space, but also not too intricate so you can be ambushed by foes. @@Fedor_Kisliakov I agree about U3. The excessive hp is so unnecessary. Phase 2 has some questionable attacks and of course they ruin the fun by adding “beloved” Novistadors 😂. For the double Garradors, while the room is better, I think the extra enemies are badly designed - there’s a lot of them and crossbow and spider plagas. In the main game you could also use stealth and had more creative approaches.
Lol, already showing off by knifing the Black Robe😂 Strange, I started my pro walkthrough today, and that first brute died to one barrel and a trap. No additional resources were needed. Guess it is the adaptive difficulty shenanigans.
I knife him because he takes more damage to the head from the knife compared to guns. The situation you’re describing might be because the brute also got burned by the barrel.
Well done Aether👏 The TMP + Stock really support well like shotgun. While TMP stun the enemies, Bolt Rifle support the headshot. The bowgun can act like shotgun. This games is so much option and fun🍀 Maybe you can consider Leon story Version 2 with TMP + Stock as main weapon, because the handgun ammo can be sell for so much money at beginning. 💰💵 Fantastic work and thanks for your quality video, i enjoying so much👏🤗
That was the main point: TMP works well as pistol and shotgun. The crossbow is pretty handy for enemies that have helmets too since you can’t get the damage boost from the rifle.
18:56 That’s so dumb how parrying these hallucinations somehow drains your knife durability. I get what New Capcom was trying to go for with using the perfect party to dispel the hallucinations temporarily, but draining your knife durability for some reason makes no sense.
I don’t like the durability as defense option in general. I totally understand having durability to limit stealth, knife executions but as a defense/dodge it really shouldn’t drain any with perfect parry especially with attacks your only choice to escape is by parrying. With that being said, in a normal run, the durability is never an issue because you’ll have more than enough and you won’t want the fights to go on for too long either way. These hallucinations were one thing I didn’t enjoy about this DLC. I know it’s a RE3.5 reference but I think they’re too over the top and don’t blend well with the tone of the rest of the game.
@@Aether2125 What you said about the durability, I totally agree with. Also, I didn’t think of RE3.5 as a potential influence. Maybe New Capcom drew from that prototype.
Not that explicitly but they were present in the environment. The hook man displayed some teleportation capabilities like Pesanta’s hallucinations as well.

Although I don’t like how tanky they made the bosses, their mechanics are at least more balanced than the ones in the main game.
@@Aether2125 I see, im glad that you enjoyed the dlc 😄 I enjoyed it too and agree with you, too much health, specially Black Robe 2, he is too annoying with his teleportations, clones and amount of life; the only boss who has killed me many times with its bs lmao

I was able to find a nice U-3 strat however u do need small resources. Basically for phase 1 just use the crossbow, which stuns him with each shot, at level 3 crossbow takes about 10-20, phase 2 i just have a max out rifle with flashbange and i stun and shoot and its been pretty consistent so far.
I was aware of crossbow being the easiest way for phase 1 but fighting normally is more fun and it’s still pretty easy. For phase 2 I used flashbang here too but you have to be careful when to throw it because it will bypass the stun animation in certain attacks.
Are you playing on PC or PS4/5? Also, out of curiosity, I get an additional taurus in front of the cabin, any idea why? A small tip: in chapter 2 you can knife the first guy walking back to the church and get the Glasses (in order to sell them at the merchant), and then run beside all of them (they don't aggro at all)
"Not a bad move, very smooth" - Ada Thats fast bro, but Im not surprised since you already know the attack patterns. Any areas you have trouble with no damage?
@@idi-jq6cj you can probably rely on the trick of sending the weapons you don’t want ammo to storage so you can get a lot of drops for them. If your item points are low, that’s even useful to get 4 heavy grenades.
@@idi-jq6cj The DA in this game has two components: action points and item points. Action points are more related to taking damage, attacking, etc. The item points score directly affects the random loot. If it’s too high you’ll keep getting mostly money drops until you lower it again. Crafting, picking up items increases the score while wasting bullets lowers it. Some other operations affect it too but I don’t quite remember. But the math system isn’t very well thought out and you can be put in a situation where you’re low on resources but with sufficiently high enough item points so the game refuses to drop relevant items. You can tell if item points are low enough by the gunpowder drops. In that case, you can just send everything to store except for what you need. Some specific areas are more likely to give you more relevant items too.
How much health does U3 have? It’s like he has a million hp, he’s so bloated. It’s like he has more hp than Krauser or Salazar. Also, does the worm phase have the same hp?
57:00 why didn't you finish off the red-robed zealot right here? You could have gotten the lamp and finished the Blue Moonstone early. Did I miss something?
Well commentary would be good because I need help with the bosses like U-3 cause on hardcore I tried using the rifle fully upgraded shooting him in the head and it didn't even phase him during the second part of the fight I was trying to shoot him in the weakspot it didn't seem to being doing enough damage
The exclusive upgrade for the rifle will deal a lot of damage for the second part. In the first phase she’s very resistant to pretty much everything, but crossbow will consistently stagger her if you need it.
This one didn’t require much routing to complete the run since I was already used to the mechanics and the sections are much more straightforward. So I basically had to learn the bosses and a couple of encounters.
No (it’s invulnerable to flashbangs during that scream) but it only spawns them after a certain hp level so I use the flash to set up a long duration stun that allows me to finish it off quickly.
@@Aether2125 Before I started playing Pro, I've been thinking of selling off TMP and invest in Blacktail and Bolt Action Rifle. But after seeing this run, I changed my mind and sold Blacktail instead. But the game is stupid, it still keep giving me handgun ammo even though I don't even own a handgun anymore... So far so good, I've reached the island 😀
The shotgun isn’t very good, it’s unnecessary when the TMP works just as well in most cases. So I prioritize upgrading TMP and rifle. Also not having the shotgun is more comfortable for the inventory and ammo drops situation.

A small tip: in chapter 2 you can knife the first guy walking back to the church and get the Glasses (in order to sell them at the merchant), and then run beside all of them (they don't aggro at all)
I’m on PC. I got him once when I left the hammer one in the previous encounter alive.
Didn’t know about the loot, that’s good to know.
"Not a bad move, very smooth" - Ada
Thats fast bro, but Im not surprised since you already know the attack patterns.
Any areas you have trouble with no damage?
With upgrades they’re okay. But I have to find better ways for bosses that work for no merchant/minimalist.
a-amazing
Lets be real, the level design of this game is basically Adas Re 6 campaign if you think about it.
I prefer the level design of her campaign in RE6 a lot more except for chapter 5. xD
watching u make me high dude 😂
2:18:20 I’ve never seen him do that move before
Nice
2:20:51 that sound thoo
Let's GOOOOO
@Aether2125 is this possible if full upgraded blacktail instead of full upgraded TMP?
yeah its still possible. personally prefer the punisher over bt in this dlc. might have to carry the shotgun if you do the handgun route though.
Very cool
no need to skip cutscenes
I have saved 10 bolts for the Crossbow. I can’t decide if I should use them all on U3 or Saddler. What do you think?
U3. You can get most of them back after the fight.
@@Aether2125Thanks
@@idi-jq6cj you can probably rely on the trick of sending the weapons you don’t want ammo to storage so you can get a lot of drops for them. If your item points are low, that’s even useful to get 4 heavy grenades.
@@Aether2125 How exactly do the item points work?

I wasn’t aware of that when I did this run. That’ll be useful for future runs.
holy shit
GAME FAVORITEKUU👍👍👍👍👍👍RESIDENT EVIL REMAKE
Are you still going to post Jill's Resident Evil 5 in Desparate Escape?
How much health does U3 have? It’s like he has a million hp, he’s so bloated. It’s like he has more hp than Krauser or Salazar. Also, does the worm phase have the same hp?
He doesn't have much HP, but the damage we deal is scaled down significantly. This channel has the numbers: ruclips.net/video/vS2PusCAWnc/видео.html .
You best
57:00 why didn't you finish off the red-robed zealot right here? You could have gotten the lamp and finished the Blue Moonstone early. Did I miss something?
What do you mean? I finished him off there but went back because enemies can surround you in that area.
Good
Was there a reason for not grenading all the ganados at the church for the extra glasses treasure?
Didn’t know about it at the time.
Respect 🙏. I finished my professional run right now. How many savings are allowed to get the S+?
10.
@@Aether2125 really ? In what time ?
@@straightinyourface5120 2:30 is the completion time requirement.
@Aether2125 that's fast. Ok people have to hurry up
Gg bro
Are we allowed to use bonus weapons for new fresh game pro run? It doesn’t state it compared to Leon’s challenge
yes you can use the elite knife and chicago and still get S+
Aether the screen is too dard, will you replay again since we believe is not too hard for you because you already beat No Merchant run👏😁
Hm, I don't know, I don't feel like redoing this. xD
Maybe I could fix the brightness and reupload.
@@Aether2125yeah only if it’s convenient for you
Mmmmm, esta recortado, el gameplay completo?. Saludos
How do you route new games so fast?
This one didn’t require much routing to complete the run since I was already used to the mechanics and the sections are much more straightforward. So I basically had to learn the bosses and a couple of encounters.
For phase 2 of Pesanta/U-3, does Flash Grenade stop it from summoning the Novistadors?
No (it’s invulnerable to flashbangs during that scream) but it only spawns them after a certain hp level so I use the flash to set up a long duration stun that allows me to finish it off quickly.
@@Aether2125 Before I started playing Pro, I've been thinking of selling off TMP and invest in Blacktail and Bolt Action Rifle. But after seeing this run, I changed my mind and sold Blacktail instead. But the game is stupid, it still keep giving me handgun ammo even though I don't even own a handgun anymore... So far so good, I've reached the island 😀
@@gilfordtan It's because of the default attache case and static handgun bullets drops.
Why didn’t you use the shotgun in this run? What are the drawbacks to it?
The shotgun isn’t very good, it’s unnecessary when the TMP works just as well in most cases. So I prioritize upgrading TMP and rifle. Also not having the shotgun is more comfortable for the inventory and ammo drops situation.
Can we use elite knife and get s+?
