That's because game is designed for co-op with another player. She's AI replacement for the second player when you play solo. She's kinda annoying when she runs in front of my face when I shoot, but she can shoot, and her healing ability is great.
Not giving Sheva weapons and ammo is the biggest noob mistake in this game. Classic "i know better than the devs" idiot mentality. This game filtered so many people who can't into basic control and partner management and just wanted to be carried by someone else (player or AI).

You know, this was the game that actually got me started in the resident evil series since I had never heard of it before so I had bought my very first x-box and saw RE 5 before I decided to check it out, which got me involved in the resident evil series for the first time and I never regretted it so it's funny how things happen sometimes because it turns out I'm a year older than this series.
@@iiamTajaee I'm not going to lie, the Reaper BOWs pissed me off back then because of the instant kill attack and I had no idea that you could get infinite ammo, so it would've made things so much easier if I used the infinite ammo magnum on them or the other bosses but I just got the PS4 version of the game so hopefully things go well for me.

I will always love this game, I remember me and my mom playing together. I played a lot of resident evil games, the OGs it's my favorite actually but this is special, it's my classic RE3, RE4 or any first RE game you did playing in your life and have a special place on your heart. Everything started with this game❤
you just need to play wiht the ai you need to think about it as you friend, she don't cheat she have the sames rules as you, however his brain is hardcoded, don't do the mistakes other players does, give sheva weapons, give some healing and share ammo with her, she is pretty decent and can do pretty much anything in the game. now if you leave he with just a pistol its obviously she is going to die alot,

Why does your Sheva respond so quickly to getting grabbed and doing follow ups while mine is on parkinsons even when shes right next to me? Is it the trust mechanic and if so how would you recommend I raise it?
It’s not the trust mechanic since this save file was practically brand new. She responds quickly in most situations unless she’s committed to something else or she’s in a state where she can’t do what you request. A typical example is when you get hit from behind, Sheva is unable to heal you during the entire flinch animation which will very often result in death on Professional.
I've been wanting to watch this run for awhile now but had to wait until i finished my 1st playthrough and glad it did. Always love your runs but was shocked that you used keyboard and mouse instead of controller. Would you ever do a 100% run or is there no point?
100% on NG is a bit annoying mostly because of chapter 1 where you have to kill several Majinis when you only have 10 bullets. It requires some exploits. Also a few other treasures are rather inconvenient and would cost the SSSS rank.

My AI doesn’t do much melee at all and constantly burns through ammo instead on attack mode instead of meleeing staggered enemies like yours do. Hell my AI barely melees mobs, let alone meleeing Wesker. I literally had to do everything myself

I took damage in the first part. It’s possible to no damage it though by getting really lucky especially if coop, but I was doing entire chapters in one sitting no restarts.

Very soon your partner is coming to you to lick Licker's claws like it's the best thing in the world while the 2nd Licker is coming out. I tried an hour but still cant get through it :( Do you have an alternative way of killing if it keeps showing no prompt at all?
Doing this without unlimited ammo seems insane haha. Nice work. I just beat it on veteran. Knowing very well this game is like 10 years old. But this game is solid. Once beating the game on professional ill have all achievements besides doing online
It should be along the lines of: If the enemy is a crowd, blow them away with the shotgun or pierce them with sniper rifle if you’re far enough If there are few enemies, stagger their legs and go for “neck breaker” Set the AI of Sheva to “attack” if needed, make sure she isn’t in any danger zones and connect with melee attacks to save ammo.
4:33:18 can you explain what’s happening here? I see you shoot at the top of the doorway, then Wesker runs into you for a second ~ it’s somewhat odd, but I’m sure there’s some rationale great run btw
When Wesker gets affected by the grenade launcher explosion or flash grenade, he rushes to you. I shoot at the top of the doorway so that the explosion won't hit my partner.
I hate it when someone says the AI is bad in this game. Cant you even read the gaming manual? lmao you complain about Ashley but you call Re 4 the greatest ever. Clowns.
But Aether did you play laser point like PS5 or Nintendo Switch console? I think much more harder for aiming because the red light is so hard see it clear unless you have very good pc or monitor. Hope see you play again for This on PS5 with laser point.
When I run this on single segment it will be with controller, so it will be with the laser sight. It's a mixed bag - the laser sight is worse to see distant targets but it's reliable (wherever it points is where it's gonna hit). The reticle here only gives you a general idea of where the shot might land but it's not reliable for accurate shots (e.g., dynamite, grenades)
Hello, I'm trying to understand better this game cuz Professional is just too much for me XD Why did you let Sheva alone in the fight of the first mission, and how did she not get caught or attacked by any enemy?
The enemies are scripted to ignore her in almost the entire game. Only in the sections you split up or when for some reason, the game thinks you are unreachable will they actually go for her.
@@Aether2125 so if she's next to you and an enemy is charging at you, throwing something at you, or shooting at you, she gets hit because she's in the way?
I like the SIG better. I prefer MG with higher capacity instead of damage. In this challenge I was not using inventory reload so its low capacity and slow reload speed would be overall worse.

I used to kill him sometimes. But for this run I was just trying to make the section more entertaining than just sitting in the rooftop waiting for the timer. 😅

I took damage in the first part. It’s possible to no damage it though by getting really lucky especially if coop, but I was doing entire chapters in one sitting no restarts.

3:32:18 Chapter 5-1: May I ask how do you get Licker's prompt more consistently? For me it's like 80% of the time no prompt at all. It's really annoying here because it's time sensitive. Very soon your partner is coming to you to lick Licker's claws like it's the best thing in the world while the 2nd Licker is coming out. I tried an hour but still cant get through it :( Do you have an alternative way of killing if it keeps showing no prompt at all?

Doing this without unlimited ammo seems insane haha. Nice work. I just beat it on veteran. Knowing very well this game is like 10 years old. But this game is solid. Once beating the game on professional ill have all achievements besides doing online
Use a trainer for online achievements as it's the only way to complete them on solo

How do you avoid damage? What kind of trick or strategy do you use?
It should be along the lines of:
If the enemy is a crowd, blow them away with the shotgun or pierce them with sniper rifle if you’re far enough
If there are few enemies, stagger their legs and go for “neck breaker”
Set the AI of Sheva to “attack” if needed, make sure she isn’t in any danger zones and connect with melee attacks to save ammo.

hello friend, how did you get this aim? in my game on ps3 it's laser, I've finished the pro.
It's the standard aim system for PC version when using mouse/keyboard.

What enemy? The normal ones? This player is doing the neckbraker which is an insta-kill.

When Wesker gets affected by the grenade launcher explosion or flash grenade, he rushes to you. I shoot at the top of the doorway so that the explosion won't hit my partner.

I think much more harder for aiming because the red light is so hard see it clear unless you have very good pc or monitor.

When I run this on single segment it will be with controller, so it will be with the laser sight. It's a mixed bag - the laser sight is worse to see distant targets but it's reliable (wherever it points is where it's gonna hit). The reticle here only gives you a general idea of where the shot might land but it's not reliable for accurate shots (e.g., dynamite, grenades)

Why did you let Sheva alone in the fight of the first mission, and how did she not get caught or attacked by any enemy?
The enemies are scripted to ignore her in almost the entire game. Only in the sections you split up or when for some reason, the game thinks you are unreachable will they actually go for her.
@@Aether2125 so if she's next to you and an enemy is charging at you, throwing something at you, or shooting at you, she gets hit because she's in the way?
@@BoyStarPower That's what usually happens, yeah. There are some exceptions though where the enemies actually try to attack her.

I like the SIG better. I prefer MG with higher capacity instead of damage. In this challenge I was not using inventory reload so its low capacity and slow reload speed would be overall worse.

No, it’s a little trick: I start reloading animation right before going into melee and it skips the reloading animation.
