*Bosses / Mini-bosses:* - Black Robe 1 (0:00:20) - Black Robe 2 (0:14:45) - El Gigante (0:34:09) - Double Garradors (0:56:49) - Pesanta / U-3 (1:00:30) - Saddler (1:49:09) *General notes:* - Sorry for some weird frame drops that randomly happened in the beginning of the catapults area. - The no crafting restriction is pretty convenient for pistols run because of how the ammo drops can be manipulated with the crates especially when you get low on ammo. It also encouraged me to use knife executions and parries here and there to save ammo. By having multiple pistols you can reload all of your pistols as soon as possible so that your spare ammo count is low, forcing the game to drop more ammo again. I leave all the boxes to loot before El Gigante fight to showcase this in its best potential (allowing me to get 130+ bullets). It can be done in other places too like the maze or areas with a lot of boxes but I know I didn't need to so I only did it for the El Gigante fight and during Saddler's boss fight. - Most of the run was okay except for the beginning of chapter 2, U-3 phase 1, the laser/turret encounter in chapter 6 and the final elevator in the rocket launcher sequence.
Great work! I did not expect El Gigante to go down this fast. Blacktale packs a punch. Maybe I should go back to my attempts for the S+ run using a more limited loadout to save time on treasure hunts. Last time I clocked at about 1:35 after killing Pesanta and realized I would not make it in time.
I was also surprised with how effective the fully upgraded Blacktail is with El Gigante. The major disadvantage of the Blacktail is with brutes because it generates very little stagger/stopping power and in sections that require accurate shots like the gondola ride. The Punisher with the laser sight and Red9 with the stock are significantly better at those parts.
I have to give credit to your stealth. Good Job! Although I have done this run and practiced a good few times and I managed in one piece with the pistol and knife and all upgrades. 👍👍
Not far into this it dawned on me that it wouldn't be long before the merchant was merely there to repair her knife. That part before the last elevator ride sure was hectic. After two hours of this it came down to three jerks shrugging off your shots like they were nothing, being belligerent. I wonder, did you ever lose an attempt to them before this successful run? Also the gondola section was almost perfect. I expected a more dangerous ride!
great work as always man! big hugs from Brazil! I have a suggestion to you and i'd like to know if you find it viable. Here's the deal: do you think about doing the full game 100% no damage in the main game like the cinematic one, but using different guns? Like, instead of the SG09R, use the blacktail, and the first shotgun instead of the Riotgun. Personally i think the first shotgun is very viable, because of its firepower, basically the idea is do a run using some different guns, just for the fun, its not a challange because there is no challange for you anymore in this game
Thanks! I tested something like that recently and may do another fun run with some unusual weapon choices. Just not sure when it’ll come because I have other runs planned for other games as well.
The real one makes footstep sounds. I was paying attention while baiting attacks from those two fake ones (they’re always there) for them to disappear as well. You can also tell by the sound it makes when the real one teleports respawning. It’s better to notice with headphones.
@@Aether2125 hmm interesting. I will keep that in mind for when I start replaying this. After I’m finished with RE3 remake’s Nightmare and Inferno difficulties. Wish me luck on that.
1:04:32 Does shooting the weak spot on the parasite while it’s in this hard stun actually contribute to damage to its stun hp, which is why you were able to quickly stun it the next time it emerged?
I think his stun works a bit differently because when he’s in low hp he gets stunned very easily. When it’s close to death for example a few shots stun it. So the point there was to lower his hp.
Hi Aether 1:03:53 May I ask if there is a good strategy for this stage? It could attack in different ways, like spitting, sometimes I'm lucky because those yellow pustules are just surrounding me, sometimes I took direct hit. Sometimes it agros toward me (whether it's short distance or long distance ) and I really hate this fight.
@@Aether2125 May I ask how did you dodge his sprint attack? His first stage is much easier for me now, but second stage is still troublesome. A friend of mine told me, when I face again him, I have to move left to dodge his attack but it didn't work. I noticed that you seem to stay in the center of this square, when he pops out from ground, you immediately run in the opposite direction.
No, it's random. It decides which attack is going to be the moment it comes out of the ground. If you stand still at a correct distance and angle yourself that way, it will miss the projectiles practically all the time. The spit attack can't be stopped by any means, not flashbang or firepower. Dude you cheated and used the cannon at the start, in an area where you can just shoot the middle red barrel and run through and still take no damage. My 10yr old called that 😂😂

Seeing you play as Ada really brings joy to me. No to mention that I automatically smile when I see Ada my life Wong on the screen
What 😭
Greatest Resident Evil player ever just uploaded? woo hoooo
Bro foreal though!
hey i said that xd
Great run. The idea of maximizing the odds of obtaining handgun ammo is intriguing.
1:08:47 WHAT! As usual, I learned something new from your videos! I had no idea pulling a shield doesn't blow your cover if you're stealthing, awesome
I found out when routing this challenge. I was surprised it works as well. 😂

Back at it again, eh stranger? Seems you've always got something new for us.
Your execution and knowledge of game mechanics are top notch! Well done.
Love these man, fantastic work
Haven't finished watching but boy, that ammo loot manipulation is too brilliant!
deemmnnn that trick is neat 18:28😏
Great as always
You're the goat man, Keep up.🥇
1:08:45 I like how you can yank his shield away and still sneak attack him lol

When you almost left all that ammo behind at the end of Chapter 3, I've had some rage triggers, I'm not going to lie. 🤣🤣
I was manipulating drops to give me more ammo.
Babe wake up new Aether playthrough! 😍
I didn’t know that you can parry the verdugo ghosts to make them disappear. Thanks mate
Bro, I REALLY need to play Separate Ways. Btw, I came here hitting a roundhouse in the like button
Awesome bro!! I always look forward to your stuff:)
This man is a LEGEND! How did you figure out so much about these games, the cycles, the dodges?
Perfectly as always

How are you so good at Resident evil series, have you Been practicing?
0:00:20 During the hallucination, how could you tell which one was the real Pesanta before her eyes glowed?

Is it possible in any way whatsoever to do a minimalist, no merchant, professional S+ on separate ways or main game?
Hi Aether
1:03:53 May I ask if there is a good strategy for this stage?
It could attack in different ways, like spitting, sometimes I'm lucky because those yellow pustules are just surrounding me, sometimes I took direct hit.
Sometimes it agros toward me (whether it's short distance or long distance ) and I really hate this fight.
The only tricky situation is when it decides to spit. But if you're at the right distance and stand still it should miss almost every single time.
@@Aether2125 May I ask how did you dodge his sprint attack?

For phase 2 of Pesanta, did you deliberately prevent it from spitting the acidic projectiles thing?
No, it's random. It decides which attack is going to be the moment it comes out of the ground. If you stand still at a correct distance and angle yourself that way, it will miss the projectiles practically all the time. The spit attack can't be stopped by any means, not flashbang or firepower. Hello friend i get s rank all difficulty Leon and ada not s+only s rank i think is is good

My 10yr old called that 😂😂
It’s allowed to use the canon as you can see I got the in-game challenge at the end.
RE4 (2005) plz
I thought about trying this challenge in the og RE4 to see how it looks.
