I love how both Rambo and Howard during that podcast called DSP so accurately. Rambo saying when you apologize it has to be supported by your actions after the fact, making a commitment to being better and not repeating mistakes. Howard also mentioned Phil is terrible at damage control.
Just the sheer smugness from Phil is sickening. He gives excuses why he did what he did and wasn't really his fault. But I know if his tire thief came out and said he stole Phil's tire because he was so stressed Phil wouldn't view it like he expects us to view it. He really should take a break from the internet from time to time more than a day off to pay his big bills and his legal style errands. It's just super abusive how he thinks his life is hard so he has carte blanche to lash out and be horrible beyond reason. He launched into that massive toxic rant over being told he's being cringe and his own misunderstanding of what a meme is.
And I hate this whole "I've got things none of you are aware of." At this point it is deliberate on his end. It's vague so the listener will fill in the blank. His dents will think Phil is literally under attack at home and shower him with money and detractors will think Phil just stubbed his toe in the morning.

Putting aside any ops, how do detractors discussing Phil actually hurt Phil? How does someone pointing out his lies tangibly injure Phil?
All it does is disrupt Phil's narrative and counter his self-importance. That is what he hates.
Recently I let out an emotional outburst at someone due to a myriad issues in my own life (and real stresses, not the petty things DSP considers "stress"). It was nothing compared to what DSP recently did, but I still was mad at myself for how I acted, and when I apologized to the person, I made it clear that I was 100% in the wrong and made ZERO excuses for it. The person gladly accepted my apology because I not only owned up to the way I acted, but the person knows I normally don't act like that and knows what I'm going through.
THIS is how to apologize to someone if you've wronged them in some way. DSP has the apology skills of a bratty child, and I specifically say a bratty child because there are children out there that behave themselves way better than this toxic e-begging pig.

The amount of 'grown up adult-style stuff' he feels he has to explain, is off the charts! I think it's due to one of two reasons:
1) He knows his core audience is young, but just can't drag himself to come to the reality that his immature personality draws in adolescent audiences; or
2) Sheer narcissism. He thinks he's the most intelligent person in the entire 'community', and can't fathom the idea that other people are as smart as, if not smarter and more prepared for life than he is.

This is a rare situation where he "Apologizes" twice by now, seems like he really starts to see a halt in support.
