- In our third instalment on Balham, Tristán White and Sharon Crawford visit Upper Tooting Road, the 'curry mile' or 'Tooting Corridor'. Inspired by the wonderful videos by RUclipsr @Dale_Philip, they sample some of the fantastic food on offer and visit a couple of the street's iconic shops.
In this episode, they try a desi breakfast at Chaiiwala, compare Ethiopian and Eritrean lager on offer at Meadi, buy some samosas at Pooja, learn all about Sikhism and the 5 Ks at the Khalsa Centre gurudwara, look for bargains in Little India, haggle for loquats and mangoes, pick wild cherries outside Tesco, discover where a snooker legend found his mojo, and discover Mayor Sadiq Khan's favourite food at Mirch Masala.
