Romanian Diaspora special ¦ Love Your London ¦ What do Romanians do for fun in London?

In today's episode, Tristán White and Sharon Crawford go on the hunt to discover what Romanian connections they can find with London, which will be the first in a series of diaspora-specific episodes coming out in the following years. They visit FC Romania, a football team set up in 2006 by Romanian workers, who play at the ground of Cheshunt FC, and chat to the very entertaining stadium announcer John Adams. They attend a Romanian Harvest Festival (Targ Romanesc) in Harrow Weald, organised by Roconect. They discover the best Romanian shop in London, and then go on the hunt for the best papanași (dessert with semolina, cottage cheese and jam) in London. Will it be Brasseria Timișoareana in Burnt Oak (Little Romania), or will it be Restaurant River in Barking/Creekmouth. Watch us stuff our faces to find out!
