I was born in the 50s, I’m a white woman vet from the U S navy not a usual thing to be in the 70s. You have found here one of my all time favorites. You can’t go wrong with Marvin Gaye, you might want to check out the Staple Singers also. This was the best music of the 60s and part of the 70s. Enjoy, this is a very deep rabbit hole.

Marvin remains glorious and severely underappreciated. From Berry Gordy downwards. This track is glorious.
This song to me is the greatest song Marvin ever made because it gives the insight on how love making should always be "I want you to want me too"...Now that is the most impactful desire ..two people want each other that will produce one of the greatest love making ever...p.s...i don't think no artist sampled this song...
